Even the third bed in the room was ok, the staff offered us immediately a second room for the third person in the meaning the extra bed was too small for us in the room- without any extra charges! Everything was very clean, amazing breakfast and view! Grazie mille!

The location is great, just a few steps after the main entrance to the town. If you arrive by train or bus, you can just get a taxi to take you up to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and the room was comfortable and well appointed. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, but it got quiet after midnight, and the sounds of Sicilians talking on the street added local flavor. Perhaps the best thing about the restaurant was breakfast. Not only was there a good selection of food (including your choice of made to order crepes or eggs), but the rooftop patio has a wonderful view of Mt. Etna. A great way to start the day.

Me and my partner stayed here for 12 nights back in June 2016, it's taken me far too long to write this review, so I'll start by saying that all the staff at Hotel Taodomus were so helpful, kind and thoughtful.

The rooms were always clean, and stocked full of all the essentials we needed. The breakfast was the best, I still remember my usual Giovanni vergo? Yumm! Location was amazing right on Corso Umberto. Our room had a balcony facing the main street, during our time there it was the European championship and it wasn't too loud; quiet often we turned off our AC and left the doors open.

Just want to thank all the staff at Hotel Taodomus for making our stay easy and enjoyable and I'm quiet sure I'll return soon one day.

Wonderful hotel, first class and right in the heart of the town. Perfect for exploring Taormino. Parking is available and staff extremely helpful. The roof top has a lovely view of Etna, so nice to sit and see sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was outstanding. Well worth the stay, sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Agree wholeheartedly with all previous reviews. This is a very well run, friendly little hotel with the best, freshest a la carte breakfast along stunning views (snow capped Mt Etna on a blue sky day was amazing to behold). The coffee is great as well - a vital detail for me. All this and situated in a perfect central position in a picture perfect village, you really have the whole package.

We found it was reasonably priced but were there in winter so tariffs will no doubt increase during peak season. Our three days were wonderful in every way. We walked everywhere and ate the most delicious food in nearby restaurants, every place was superb.

Apart from some street noise on our first night (it was around Xmas and lots of people were out celebrating) we slept well. We were kindly moved on our last night to the best room of the hotel (number 7) which has beautiful sea views. It is also situated on the quieter side of the hotel.

The hotel is now closed until Easter allowing the hard working staff a well earned break. We were lucky it was open when we were there as many of the larger hotels were not. If you're planning to stay in Taormina, Hotel Taodomus is very highly recommended.

Room tip: We think number 7 is the best.
