Charlie, Kathrine, Sam and team were as accomodating as ever. The five days we had were superb and will go back again next year.

If you want a quiet, relaxing place to stay, then this hotel ticks all the boxes

Set in the hills above Taormina, the Hotel Villa Angela serenely welcomes you to their luxurious oasis. The views of the city are spectacular, there are many areas to just relax and gather your thoughts. The pool is inviting, the rooms lovely, the breakfast is delicious. The Staff is extremely attentive to your every need and so so nice! I have only one reservation about the hotel. I was unaware that because it is set above the city, you must take their shuttle bus down or take a taxi and I usually stay in the city center. But that is vastly outweighed by how wonderful this hotel is. Truly an experience!

It’s difficult to add anything new to the existing wonderful reviews however I felt compelled to leave some notes as we enjoyed our stay so much.
The staff are without exception pleasant, courteous and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and the views from it simply superb.
All the facilities at the hotel are just right, spotlessly clean and fresh.
Breakfast on the terrace again with those views is such a fantastic start to the day.
It’s a wonderfully tranquil relaxing hotel that will undoubtedly draw us back.

We stayed here for 3 nights last week. We'd just spent the previous 5 days touring around the island seeing the sights. We wanted somewhere to relax and rest, after not just the wonders of the Greek and Roman temples on offer, but also the sheer anxiety of coping with Italian drivers who believe a 50 kph speed limit means at least double that! Driving in Sicily is not for the faint hearted.
I'm not going to repeat all that has been written in the other reviews, but this hotel is a wonderful place to relax, the staff, the amenities, the rooms are all very, very good. Breakfast on the terrace looking out to Mt Etna is a real "privilege" , such views don't come along often. As someone else mentioned, the hotel doesn't do evening meals. However, there's a lovely restaurant within 10 minutes walk close by, Al Saraceno. We ate there twice. One evening we couldn't be bothered to go out. The "snack" meals that can be ordered in the evening are just fine for a light meal. We had salads which were more than ample. As I mentioned, the staff were all very good, but a special mention to Sam, who we met at breakfast and lunch. He's very hospitable and engages easily with the clients. Our three days went by quickly and it was all too soon time to leave. A great place to visit.

Two week trip to Italy with many stops. Started AND ended our trip at Hotel Villa Angela. Hotel Angela is not in town but atop a hill with free parking. Being a bit remote this hotel provides views of the water and Mt. Etna from your private terrace. It is WONDERFUL.
There are steep stairs by and old church which you can take to get to town but the hotel also provides a shuttle. We opted for the stairs which added to our experience each day getting some exercise to balance the cannoli we ate! In the night the sparkling views from town are breathtaking. Coming back "home" after dinner Hotel Anglea is a calm peaceful oasis.
The hotel has a friendly staff, clean elegant rooms and a wonderful pool area. The guests, too, are friendly!
This is the place to go.
Breakfast is provided each day on the balcony.

Room tip: Pool view is nice
