“Incredible!”

Very entertaining, thoroughly enjoyable! This takes place in a quaint theatre behind the bell tower of St. Josephs church. The champagne was a great surprise! Well worth the time and money!!

“Wonderful opera experience.”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

I don't pretend to know much about opera or to particularly enjoy it, however it is a must to experience such an occasion if you can. Just soaking up the atmosphere in itself is wonderful. Sitting under the stars with music played by a large orchestra is quite awesome.

“Opera close up, personal and with feeling”
Reviewed September 12, 2013 via mobile

This selection of arias is simply presented with solo piano accompaniment on an ever so small stage but the heart felt passion with which Eduardo (tenor) and Silvia (soprano) delivers a truely enchanting evening. Go, enjoy and smile as Eduardo invites you into this most personable, almost private evening of opera.

“Fabulous performance, spectacular view!”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We weren't initially sure what to expect and had slight reservations about it potentially being a bit 'community theatre'. Wow were we proved wrong!

Given our time in Milan & the €200+ pp for one opera performance, €20 pp was too good value to turn down. The venue is small, intimate & full of local charm. The (surprisingly young) president of the opera society, Eduardo, was not only a brilliant performer but an eloquent & humorous compère. The real star of the evening was the Soprano, Silvia Di Falco - her voice, range & power was superb and she managed to stir tears amongst the audience by the second aria.

Come the interval, with a free glass of prosecco, the doors opened onto a terrace with a spectacular night time panorama of the bay, looking down onto the bustling square below.

Considering some of the rather left-field cultural offerings currently receiving funding from Taormina Council & the local tourist board, perhaps they should open their pockets & support some of the traditional gems that are right on the doorstep.
