Breathtaking views of Taormina, ocean and mountains from this wonderful B & B with large and well appointed rooms and a sensational vista to Mt Etna. The room terraces and gardens, art and history are a sanctuary and the breakfast on the rooftop is excellent. To top it off the staff are the most welcoming we have ever met. They made our stay feel as if we were members of the family--even arranging for medical help when a minor ailment surfaced. The team are gracious, friendly and full of ideas and suggestions. As many other reviews have said...we will return !!!!

Casa Cuseni provided a really memorable hotel to stay in beautiful Taormina. The view can not be beat. There is so much history and artistic beauty in this house, you will not want to leave. We stayed in the Don Roberto Room which is a rooftop suite with a view of the east cost, Etna, and Taormina. Outstanding. A nice breakfast is also served on the roof. The gardens surrounding the house make Casa Cuseni a real oasis in the middle of the city. Take the tour of the museum and grounds with sweet Maria, who is as much of a treasure as anything in the Casa. Would recommend to anyone desiring something more than a hotel room in Sicily.

Room tip: Don Roberto room is rooftop. Beautiful Room and view. There is an elevator from ground floor.

Casa Cuseni is now one of my all time favorite places to stay and I’ve been to some beautiful places, thanks to lots of research. I truly don’t know where to begin! The gardens, full of Sicilian plantings, flowers and fruit trees, delight at every turn. I had to go back inside to get my camera and take pictures, which I promise to upload after my jet lag wears off. But what I loved the most was the feel of artistry throughout. I didn’t know it was a museum, but I’m not surprised after taking the tour with the gracious and generous Maria. Don’t miss it... I promise not to let any spoilers slip. We stayed in a most delightful room, with a panoramic view of Taormina, a most lovely town, and views of the sea and Mt Etna, which let out a charming plume of white smoke in the morning, against a bright blue sky. Could any place be more magical? I’ll be back with my daughter, who’s an artist, and my son for a longer visit next time. Can’t wait!

Room tip: I loved our room, next to Greta Garbo’s larger one, where she stayed for over a year. Stellar views with balconies from both.

Casa Cuseni must be one of our all time favorite B&Bs. Located in Taormina, a 10 minute walk (downhill) from the center. Taormani is a wonderful place, with magnificent views and upscale shopping and dining in a historical setting (it’s not what it seems when described in this way). The town is absolutely worth a visit as one of the top destinations in Sicily, but Casa Cuseni made it even
more special. The house is a museum and has a history I shouldn’t disclose here, but the tour that comes with a booking reveals it all. The tour is an absolute must if you stay at the casa (and comes with the booking). It is a historical mansion, with a few rooms converted into a B&B. You really feel part of history when you are there, and especially for lovers of various arts (literature, poetry and painting) this is an eye-opening experience. The rooms come with the original historical furniture and paintings, which is amazing in itself. The rooms are artist themed and have superb views over the town and Mediterranean via a balcony where it’s nice to sit in the morning with a tea or coffee (afternoons are hot because of the sun). We stayed in the Faulkner room, which is very spacious with all amenities you need. Breakfast buffet is extensive with many options and truly enjoyable. Oftentimes you chat with other guests that you get to know because of the small scale of
the B&B. This is part of the charm, as well as the exceptionally personal and friendly service. María and Magdalena at the front desk are really wonderful hosts, and so I are Daphne and Francisco and the others. We can only thank them for
Making our stay (too short!) so exceptional, and hope to see them again.

Steeped in history it has some of the best views of the water and Taormina right from their balconies. See the place where famous authors and other celebrities stayed. Worth the visit. Just email them and you can get a tour.
