This hotel is situated in the centre of Taormina close to the busy town and close to the local bus station (the best way to get around)
The hotel was very clean, quiet and comfy typicality Italian overlooking the Mediterranean and mount Etna.
It has a beautiful swimming pool and sun terrace.
Easy access to Castelmola, cable car to beach and resorts.
Suggest anyone staying here catch the bus from the airport 8 Euros (in-tabus) rather than taxi from the airport 110 Euros. It takes 1hour 20.

Unusual stay, hotel was closed for a while few years back and that shows, new owners have done only minimal maintenance to re-open the hotel. Plates and cups on the breakfast had stamps dating back to 70s and 80s, overall some areas must have been unchanged for decades which makes it interesting in a way. View from top floor room was amazing.

This lovely hotel is positioned perfectly to see the Med and Mt Etna from your room and the dining room. it's an old place and hasn't been re-furbishd for a while, so it's not that expensive for what you get.
The food and staff are terrific. Big breakfasts. Taormina is sadly too popular now, so Taormina Park is an oasis of calm in a jungle.
Gorgeous clean pool, pretty gardens
The only problem is the thin walls so there's a lot of noise at night.

Room tip: top floor possibly quieter

The view from my room was breathtaking. especially at sunset. However the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive. Slow and lazy. Everything was a problem. The man who parks your car blocked me in with another guests car and was very dismissive, ignoring me, looking away and gesturing at me with his hand “is one moment of your time.” I had to wait 45 minutes in total which was utterly ridiculous. It made me late for me tour of mount Etna. There were also scratches along the side of my hire car after being left in the hotel parking overnight. Feeling very frustrated. Also, there were no staff at breakfast so there was no hot option. Just the cold cereals and fruit. The spa wasn’t open until 10am this morning, so again, not all facilities were available. Come for the views but don’t have expectations of any kind of service.
