“Wish I could live there!”

My husband and I couldn't have been happier during our 3-night stay in early July 2013. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a marvelous sea view. Through the open doors of the balcony, the treetops of the Public Gardens and the sea were visible. The superbly comfortable bed was perfect after a long flight from the US. Ideal location: walk to the Greek theater, shopping, restaurants, and just strolling. The Giardino-Naxos excavation and museum is worth the short drive. Otherwise, we just let go of our goal-oriented tourist ways--took the little shuttle to the Paradise Beach Club--and relaxed. The breakfast was lovely (with fresh fruit bowls also near the bar downstairs)--there were even dry wafers from various countries for those whose post-flight appetites are finicky. My husband asked for a cappuccino with chocolate--no problem.
The hospitality at this family-run hotel is its most unique feature: we felt compelled to hug the staff on departure. We really want to return to Hotel Villa Paradiso for a longer stay.

Room Tip: The deluxe sea view room is worth the extra money.

Starting with strong points. The location of the hotel is great. It has nice view and it's close to pedestrian zone and a lot of cafes and restaurants around.
The week poit of the hotel is it's breakfast. It is served on a beautiful terrace with a sea view but it's extremely poor. Some fruits, cakes, eggs one (!) type of bread, ham and cheese. That's it. Sereiosly this is not a 4 stars hotel breakfast.
No water delivers to the room. Moreover there are no iron and safe at the rooms.
Please don't be fool by the picture of swimming pool. The swimming pool located at the hotel beach club to which you can get by the bus provided by hotel only three times a day. A trip to it takes around 10-15 minutes.

The family sea view room was amazing. Big and spacious and spotlessly clean. Have to mention the excellent cleaning staff that the hotel has. Our son was sick and the cleaning lady was so helpful and nothing was a problem and even came back every so often to clean and refresh our towels. She was an amazing lady. The hotel is very lucky to have her. The location of the hotel was perfect and the breakfast room had the most amazing view which made breakfast so enjoyable. We enjoyed the Paradise Beach Club pool with the kids. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in Taormina. Highly recommend this hotel. You will love it.

We have just returned from a week in Taormina and the Villa Paradiso is perfectly located in the most beautiful resort. The hotel is clean, cool, comfortable and our sea view room offered the most fabulous views of Etna. We travelled most days to the Paradise Beach Club, which was included in our package along with free mini bus transfers and it was superb. Every bar and restaurant in Taormina (all easily walked to from hotel) we visited were superb, if very expensive.

We spent five nights in Taormina and stayed at this hotel. We are really pleased with our choice and would thoroughly recommend it. It is not trying to be a top end hotel but rooms were clean, comfortable and the shower was excellent (very important to us). We paid extra for a sea view and whist it is stunning, the balcony was small and you got the same fantastic view but better at breakfast every morning. Hotel is almost worth it just for this view but it gets better. Staff were really friendly throughout but especially when we arrived late one evening by car (not for the faint hearted) and they just grabbed our car keys and moved all the cars around to park us outside the hotel. Location is excellent just minutes walk from the restaurants and sights but without passing noise. However, what made it great value for us was the free transport and entrance to their beach club - a very nice place to have lunch and spend a few hours by the pool or sea although the beach is very pebbly and the pool was busy at the weekend. Overall, a fantastic base for a few days of R&R in Taormina

Hotel Paradiso was an old hotel, alough everything was very clean the rooms were small.Everything is very expensive, (in hotel),£28 tax to use the phone.Eating out,and the taxi s overcharge on every trip. The sunshine makes the holiday enjoyable as does the pool .Sicily is beautiful but you must be fit as it is all hills and steps. If i was to go again I would not book into this hotel. a good tip for anyone going to Sicily, there is a bus outside the airport that takes you into Taormina for 7euro,a taxi will charge 100 euro,

This hotel is excellent. The position is ideal for seeing the town. We had a sea and Etna view which was wonderful.
The dining room is at the top and has the most wonderful panoramic view ever.
We made the mistake of having a car which is a nuisance in Taormina but the staff were wonderful in shuffling cars around to make room.
The rooms are furnished with original pieces so each one is very individual.
All in all a really excellent place to stay.

Room Tip: Opt for a sea view
