We found this B&B by chance having moved on from our previous stay earlier than we had expected. Right on the coast sandwiched between two fairly main roads BUT don't let this put you off as the traffic dies away during the evening and night and with the shutters closed it is quiet. What you get is a Baroque room with very high ceilings beautifully decorated, modern and up to date bathroom, spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day. A small balcony overlooking the aquamarine waters of the bay and Isola Bella.

It is a family run B&B with only 3 bedrooms, above a wonderful (but nothing to do with the B&B) if rather expensive restaurant. The family are delightful and made us feel very welcome and breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit, beautiful fresh breads, yoghurt etc. which can then be taken out on to the terrace. It was heavenly and the climax of our stay in Sicily

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful residence for three nights. This B&B was a highlight of our month holiday throughout Italy and Sicily.
The room was very spacious, beautifully styled and the view - breathtaking. We opened our terrace doors and there it was - Isola Bella and crystal blue waters.
Daniele, the manager was so lovely and friendly. The housekeeper, who could only speak Italian was a lovely lady. We took out our Italian to English language translator on the iPad and asked where we could do our washing.... She smiled and typed "I will do it for you"... And that she did, washed, ironed and folded - the very next day.
This B&B had an abundance of terraces - we certainly had many choices of private spaces to take in the views and enjoy a quiet moment.
There was no wifi in our room, but throughout the common areas.
Breakfast was a typical Italian assortment... croissant, yoghurt, pastries, fruit and juice.
Following Daniele's recommendation we had a wonderful meal at La Tavernetta in Taormina.
I can't recommend this B&B highly enough... Thank you Daniele for making our stay so memorable.

The B&B looks quite stunning as part of a "castle" complex with stone walls and lookout turrets. The views of Isola Bella and the coast are quite stunning. A short walk takes you to Isola Bella and the stony beach. Nearby is a chairlift up to Taormina for the Grecian Theatre, restaurants and shopping. The room itself was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the ocean and Isola Bella. The bathroom was a little squeazy and short on storage space for clothes. Management was very helpful in arranging a private guide to take us up to Mt Etna.
One of the best features is just outside the main door, a large sitting area with comfortable lounge type chairs and tables overlooking Isola Bella. Going up the stairs in the B&B leads you to a rooftop eating and sitting area with tremendous views around the coastline, particularly beautiful at night with all the lights twinkling. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and others nearby that you can walk to. Overall we had a memorable stay and would return.

This charming old-world B&B is housed in a magnificent old building above an unrelated restaurant in the floor below. The rooms are tiled, with private balconies (with an amazing view! At night you can even see Calabria!) and AC and TV (local channels only). The walk down to Isola Bella beach and the associated shops and restaurants is easy and short, although you are walking on the road for part of it. The walk from the B&B down to the train station is almost impossible, as there are no footpaths and the road is busy. It was hard finding a taxi down there and we were charged 10 Euro for a 2 minute ride, oh well.\
Breakfast was GREAT, with fresh fruit, coffee, and assorted delicious things. The best part is the large balcony at the building's entrance where you can eat, sit and relax and enjoy the view.
You can get a taxi up to the town but we managed it much more cheaply on the yellow pullman (the Italian word for this sort of a small bus) for 1 Euro each. The bus stop is outside the resort down the hill, and being Italy, it is never on time.

The only downer about this B&B is partly to do with the location: the building stands as sort of an island between two main roads. So right beneath our beautiful balcony, there was the road. It came as a bit of a shock, and there is a bit of traffic noise to wake you up in the morning. but overall we would definitely come back!

We stayed at the Villa Antonio for 7 nights and enjoyed every moment. The freedom of access to all the facilities gave a more 'hotel' feel than a B&B. Our room was always beautifully cleaned and serviced and the views afforded from our balcony, and the other balconies available to all guests, were difficult to leave! Taormina was easily accessible by bus, cable car or by an energatic but scenic step climb. The breakfast were adequate and plentiful and many thanks to Grazia, the housekeeper, for making us feel so welcome.
