It was busy without being chaotic, independent stores and restaurants mixed with bigger names like valentino etc. Best restaurants found down the side streets

Honestly I loved Taormina and Corso Umberto was fun to walk back and forth along. Some good shops (although lots of repetitiveness), some lovely places to stop and grab a bite to eat or have a drink and at the end of it is the Ancient Greek theatre (which I highly recommend- has wonderful views).

All in all it was a lovely day! Enjoy!

The Corso Umberto is a very long shopping presinct wth various ice cream, expensive clothing and shoe shops. There are many restaurants in the surrounding areas and a Square which comes alive at night with music artists, street entertainers, portrait artists and strolling Sicillian families. A definite people watch attraction.

Such a beautiful street to stroll down, busy but relaxed. Gorgeous little side streets to gaze down. There are lots of beautiful places for amazing photo opportunities. Can't wait to go back.

Busy and unbelievably hectic. You only need to carry out little diversions off it to find great restaurants
