We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Jebel. This small boutique hotel is located in the middle of Taormina in the pedestrian area so be prepared to walk a bit from the taxi rank / car park. The place is beautiful and we were kindly upgraded to a nice spacious room.

The ladies at the reception deserve a special thank you from both of us - every day they went extra mile to ensure our stay js perfect (various suggestions, reservations and so on).

The only reason we give 4 and not 5 stars is due to breakfast. When we first walked in to the breakfast room i had a feeling we were actually in another hotel, the room is uninviting with rude staff and literally no choices of food. The only safe option were simple brown toasts and cheese. We heard other guests complaining about the breakfast - it’s just beyond shocking that in a boutique hotel (in ITALIA!) something like this is possible. Hopefully you guys fix it in time for our next stay :)

I love boutique luxury hotels ... but this has also a combination of elements that offer something more:
1) great location with beautiful view in the heart of the town but few steps away from the noice;
2) historical residence with a special charm only in Italy and other few places you can have;
3) one of the most beautiful city/area in the world;
4) great service with the right level of attention without any strange feeling of fake;
5) very good breakfast...right in line with the high level Sicilian style.
You know how to do your job.

From the outset, our experience at El Jebel was first rate. We were luckily upgraded to a suite and it was luxury plus! The rooms were incredibly clean and well appointed. It oozed comfort and style.
The wait staff (Vincenzo and Francesco) were delightful, good-natured and helpful. As were the delightful reception staff for whom nothing was too much trouble.
We very much enjoyed the complimentary shuttle service to their private beach and pool. This was an unexpected bonus.
Internet speed was fast and it was a reliable service.
El Jebel is ideally located in the heart of the action. It broke my heart to leave after five days. This is well worth the investment.

What a wonderful experience. The staff were courteous, professional and kind.
The room was perfect in all areas - loved the bed, loved the view, loved the bathroom, loved the satellite television to watch my North American sports. The room was super clean and the location was perfect - just off the main street in Taormina. And last but not least - i loved the breakfast they served each and every morning!

Room tip: they offer many different rooms - ask for a tour and see if you can upgrade, that's what we did and it worked out magically!

This Hotel is located just off the main street in Taormina. We were welcomed fairly late in the evening, staff met us and carried our bags to our room. We had a room on the third floor with the most amazing views over the sea and Mount Etna. The rooms were clean and comfortable very spacious with a large wardrobe. Breakfast was adequate. The manager Annalisa was extremely helpful, she arranged tours and advised us on how to get around the town. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we felt it was one of the best hotels we have stayed at for location, view, and service. As there are only 10 rooms we found the Hotel very quiet and peaceful. Highly Recommended

Room tip: ask for a room on the second or third floor for magnificent views
