Excellent location ,rooms kept spotless by the cleaning ladies, fresh towels supplied every day and lovely shower in our room, rooftop area was closed for the duration of our stay due to renovation work which was a pity as it looked really beautiful . Taormina itself is quite expensive and certain bars ( o seven Irish bar and the wunder bar )are to be avoided due to there absolute crazy prices. Places I would recommend to visit are castle mola for the view alone and the beautiful quaint village , also isola bella beach is a must , beautiful location .

Taormina is very expensive and overpriced.
However, this hotel provided us with some very comfortable accommodation in a central and convenient location just 30 metres from the main Corso Umberto.
Staff were helpful and informative and the accommodation was superb value for money.
Our deluxe room 206 was reasonable in size and overlooking the garden. We paid for this upgrade on Expedia based on previous reviews and had no issues.
Room was modern and clean with safe, LCD TV, minibar, comfy beds, clean sheets and excellent fittings. Shower was superb. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and provided a good start to the day.
Overall an excellent find - highly recommended.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a deluxe room overlooking the garden

We stayed here for 5 nights in early October. Our room was small enough and the air con didn't work very well which made it quite stuffy but other than that the room was lovely. Comfortable bed, clean, small LCD TV on the wall, safe, decent closet space, a small but adequate balcony, clean bathroom(shower only).
Buffet breakfast was good with plenty options, super location right off the Corso Umberto, so walking distance to everywhere really. I would stay here again

My wife and I started off our two week honeymoon here. It was a great start. Our room was clean and had a stunning view over the garden and out to the sea. The room was clean and modern. The furniture and room is new but a little on the inexpensive side-- the bathroom door was not quite flush in the wall and the water took a couple seconds to drain in the shower (we didn't change rooms if we had been there a little longer we would have). It would just be a "clean" three star but they really went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. When we went on an early tour the staff put together a breakfast for us to take on the bus. Also, it was significantly less expensive than other recommended hotels. The lobby was very spacious and stylish, and the free computer was a nice touch-- something more expensive hotels could learn from! We will always have great memories of Il Piccolo Giardino... Taormina without breaking the bank!

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main street in Taormina. We were given an upgrade on our room when we arrived. The room was clean, but could have been cleaner, the patio doors onto the balcony were dirty, and there was a cigarette butt out on the balcony, and the insulation plastic around the patio door was coming away, the curtains at the window/door were also dirty, it would not take much to bring this room up to scratch. We were half board at the hotel and if the weather is bad you use the indoor dining room, which is tiny. You get a set menu to choose from, some days the choice was great, other times limited, 2 fish options are not a good idea, plus some dishes were recycled the next day, e.g. Pork chop one night, next night Pork with cheese, and with only two mains to choose from, that is not great. The service in the restaurant is good, although they do frown if you leave anything especially if you don't like it, but the chips are fab! There is no real atmosphere when eating at the hotel, even when the weather is good and you can sit outside, it is pretty deserted. The pool area on the roof is great with comfortable sun lounges and incredible views!

We enjoyed the hotel and the service very much. We were upgraded when we arrived and the parking space next to the hotel were waiting for us as we had reaerved. Especially the reception were extremely helpfull and serviceminded. The swimingpool and the pool area worked very well. We also tried the restaurant at the hotel and the fish was wonderfull but the meat dishes need improvement.

The hotel's location is ideally situated. You are within steps of the main corso. The staff at the hotel are very professional, attentive, and accommodating. They go out of their way to assure a memorable stay. The rooms were spacious, modernly appointed, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was also available with generous portions available. An ideal place to stay within minutes of the main areas of Taormina.

Room Tip: The rooms are quiet since the hotel is tucked away from the main corso.
