We stayed here for 4 nights,02/06/13 to 06/06/13. Although the hotel is in a neglected area of Syracuse it does not lack anything....breakfast is adequate, room very clean, bus terminal 5 minutes walk round the corner, opposite the railway station with its carpark.Only ten minutes walk to the old city of Ortigia and centre of the city.We must say a big thank you to the reception staff especially David, who went above the call of duty to sort out a situation for us.

Hotel is very clean well designed. I stayed here for just two days, when I was in the city to meet a friend. I must say I had a wonderful time here. The room was beautiful, clean and had a super comfy bed. All the amenities I had expected were present there. The breakfast was appetizing with so much choice and everything was fresh such as the fruit and breads. I thoroughly enjoyed the moments I spent here and will try my best to come again.

found this on booking.com and the reviews were not all great but I was very pleased with the choice, the out of season price and the gentleman on the reception who was very helpful. I chose this hotel because of heavy bagage and coming from the bus station, just around the corner. I was leaving by train, so this was the obvious choice. it has recently been renovated and my room was clean, lots of cupboard space, heating and television, also free wi fi in room which is a blessing for tourist info, and a very comfortable bed and linen. there was nothing to fault here. the receptionist who was usually on duty was a very kind man and even let me have the room until 12.30 as my train was at 13hr. the breakfast was fresh croissants, coffee, and other things to chose from, but was sufficient. the walk to the old town was 15mins, to the catacombs 30mins, but the bus station with local buses is 1min away if you don't want to walk. I also took a bus to noto from here. there is no noise from the trains, I think there are very few trains anyway and there is a lovely square between the hotel and its matching station. a very good value hotel and highly recommended

Room Tip: single rooms have comfortable double beds

This hotel is located right in front of the train station! This is exactly what we were looking for. The room was extremely spacious. It would be perfect for a family. The bathroom was also roomy. The shower door did have a layer of mold on the door from leaking but it wasn't enough to deter me from staying.
All the bedding and towels were extremely clean and smelled so good. I actually wrapped some of my clothes in the towels while adventuring out for the day so they would smell just as good. The breakfast was decent but the juices were left out at night (or at least from what I could tell) so I stuck with water and coffee. I would stay here again.

I can’t remember why I paid 110 euro for this hotel, considering this was well above the going rate for similar hotels in Sicily at the time of year. Probably because all other hotels in Siracusa were more expensive.

That said, the hotel was of reasonable quality – despite its somewhat dingy exterior and the general locale - opposite the railway station, and next door to a shop that sold live chickens and hens!

The room quality was quite good, with air-conditioning and a good sized clean bathroom. There was no mini bar - and hence no fridge. Also, no elevator, which meant luggage had to be carried upstairs. Staff were quite friendly and helpful

The hotel is within 15 minutes walking distance of the old town, and there is also parking available outside.

Breakfast was served in the front lobby – literally – and was poor enough fare compared to similar hotels

We ate dinner at I'll Cenacolo, which is a busy, popular and good value restaurant in a side street close to the cathedral

For a three-star hotel, this more than met expectations. Location is excellent and the hotel is extremely clean. What impressed me most, however, was the efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff - without exception.
