Visited with family last week and our only complaint was that our stay was too short. This hotel is just the place if
one wants to relax and forget about the outside world for a while. The grounds surrounding the hotel are impeccably
kept and spacious with a beautiful pool area. The staff are very warm and welcoming, with Zia Lucia conducting
the breakfast session, making sure that you have a taste of everything on display. The rooms are nice and spacious
whilst cleanliness is visible wherever you look. Having a lunch by the pool is recommended.....so relaxing.
Will visit again anytime.

This is a little treasure 10 minutes from the old town. The grounds and rooms and service are first class. The pool is wonderful. The roof top dining area for meals has wonderful views. The food was excellent dinner and a breakfast with everything. First class resort. We will be back.

We stayed for 3 nights but could happily have stayed indefinitely! In brief, nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. It's stylish, clean, full of facilities with a nice pool, salt water jacuzzi and pool bar. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, serving great reasonably priced food and wine. Breakfast is simply the best that we've ever eaten anywhere in the world. I cannot describe the superb selections on offer because there are just too many to choose from! There is a separate out door restaurant serving great lunchtime meals. Our room, a junior suite, was spacious and very well appointed. Overall great value, lovely food and faultless service. We definitely will be back.

We are sad to leave this hotel tomorrow after 3 nights. The staff is superfriendly: aswell the poolboy who helped my wife with a stitch of a bee, the receptionist in recommanding a good restaurant as the ever smiling staff in the morning at breakfast. I've never felt so welcome andcertainly in the after-season. Did I mention the extra ordinary breakfast buffet? Everything you ever wanted. A lot of choice, home-made specialities and served by a warm welcomming staff. We could sit there till the evening. Also dinner was superb. Respect for the chef. And extra: prices for food and drinks, at the bar, the pool or in the room, are normal. 1,5 euro for 0,5 l of water - 4 € for a grappa. You feel ashamed to bring your own bottle for that price. We're are certainly comming back! Thanks for the nice experience.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night because the hotel was booked but had a lovely experience. We had a lovely delicious lunch at a reasonable price overlooking the pool and beautiful grounds. We were welcomed by the staff at checkin with a snack and beverage detailed descriptions of the surrounding areas and things to do with honest recommendations which was so helpful! The welcome was so appreciated after a long drive it really set up our experience so nicely!!! The rooms are very modern and renovated!
The hotel is a bit of a drive to Syracuse which isn't the easiest to navigate for an American driver which made it challenging for one night to go in and out of the property but they do offer a shuttle service just at fixed times. The other odd thing is that the pillows weren't the most comfortable.
I highly recommend a stay at borgo pantano if you're in the area!!
