“Great Value for money & a friendly host!”
Reviewed September 13, 2012 via mobile

Great location to all sights (walking distance) & short distance from Hertz if planning on hiring car. Our host Raffaella speaks very well in English & provides you with informative map & itinerary suggestions on arrival. Rooms are large & airy with air conditioning. Lovely breakfast with pancakes & nutella plus homemade yoghurt just some of the highlights! I'd happily reccomend to any of my friends or family!
Thank you Raffaella!

Rafaella is amazing, as all the reviews say. She truly made us feel at home. Our room was bright & airy, with a huge window in the bedroom. The bathroom was quite large, with a full size tub & a window. We even had a 'dressing room', where we stored our suitcases, hung up our clothes & kept all our shoes. This room also had a window. The TV worked great, as well as the wifi.
Breakfast - the highlight! There was such a great variety of foods that she served us over the 2 mornings - crepes, toast, bread, buiscits, fresh fruit, home-made yogurt, strawberries & whipping cream, home made tiramisu. We were stuffed & beyond satisfied! The breakfast room was also large, bright, & airy. Very welcoming & she would sit with us while we ate & talk to us & give us tips on Palermo. We were extremely sad to leave her :(

Room Tip: There are only 2 rooms & I'm sure the other room that we didn't stay in was just as good...

Raffaellais a wonderful person and really goes out of her way for her guests: The rooms have all the amenities and breakfasts were outstanding, with all kinds of homemade goodies, from yogurt to bread, jam, cake and pastries. We were concerned about street noise but the shutters do a good job of blocking it. The location is good: a 15 min (fast) walk to the cathedral or in the other direction to Mazzara for ice cream. And all this at a very reasonable price.

We had an amazing stay at Piccola Sicilia Ragolia. Rafaella made us feel at home. She was extremely helpful during our 3 night stay. She assisted with directions, bus lines and places to visit. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast along with a delightful smile. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. We highly recommend staying at this B&B when visiting Palermo.. We miss you Rafaella. Buon Giorno. I haven't started my Italian classes yet, but when I do I will be in touch...
Grazie

We were very pleased with this place. Luckily Rafaella was able to accommodate us at a few hours notice. We stayed in a room that faced the back of the building (so very quiet) and had an en suite bathroom. The room was spacious and had lovely decor and high ceilings. The bathroom had both a tub and a shower. There was also a little room on the side to hang our clothes so overall it felt more like a little apartment than a room. Rafaella is a great host; she advised us on nearby restaurants and parking (we parked on the street for free) and served a great breakfast with both sweet and savory foods. The location is good, right next to the Capo market and Teatro Massimo. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Palermo. You can visit the whole town by foot and park you car only minutes from the b&b for 8 euro a day in a safe parking. The house is very nice and Rafaella is a wonderful host, very helpful and she prepares one of the best breakfasts we had in Sicily!!!

We got off the ferry and walked to B&B, it's about a 15 min walk, carry a GPS with you as that helped alot.
The hostess was excellent, she said down with us and showed us maps of the city and how to get there. Our room was very nice, shower, bed, very clean.
Was in a nice neighbourhood also. Palermo is very old and beaten up, the people are very nice, food was good! We arrived on the overnight ferry on Sunday, it was a ghost town, come Monday it was a different place, busy very busy.
All in all the place was nice and I recommend it, I would stay there again!

Room Tip: Rooms are all nice
