I would recommend Palco Hotel and Suites to anyone staying in Palermo. The hotel is in a great location, close to everything. The rooms are chic and modern in design. You get the best of an old city charm with a modern and very comfortable hotel. The rooms are very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable, with a choice of pillows, excellent wi-fi, quiet air conditioning, and even a shower with Chromotherapy. The staff is second to none. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable. They make you feel like a guest in a home rather than a customer in a hotel. The delicious free breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh pastries, cookies, fruit, cheeses and meats. You can’t get any fresher than the freshly squeezed orange juice served to you at breakfast. Everything about our stay was perfect. It would be a pleasure to stay at this hotel again.

Palco Rooms&Suites was one of the guest houses we chose to stay on our 2 week round trip of Sicily

Overall: Excellent Service (we got upgraded to a suite upon our arrival), perfect location, clinically clean rooms, designed all in white with some colour splashes, good bang for the buck

The room: the suite was big, with an amazing view on the theater and a high ceiling. The double glazed windows kept the noise of the main street where it belonged. OUT. you couldnt hear a thing. The design was fresh, providing a soothing contrast to the city which is colourful, dirty, loud, gorgious, broken and a pearl all at the same time.

The bed: was huge and you could have slept 4 in it. The matress was just amazing. I wish I could find one like these at home. And for this guest house TA should offer 6 stars for sleep quality. I have rearly slept any better. And they offered a pillow bar with a selection of different pillows

The bathroom: clearly shows that a fair amount of money went into the guest house. The shower fits two and had a more then welcoming light therapy allowing you to relax before you head out for dinner

The breakfast: great selection of cookies and cakes. Fresh pressed orange juice and fresh pastries

Location: directly opposite the Theatro Massimo and thus in the midst of Palermo's historical center. You can reach every tourist attraction on foot. If you are prepared to walk, even the Catacombe dei Cappuccini. So you just hand over the keys for your car to the owner, who will park the car for you in an underground parking for 20Euros a day. Well worth it, not having to drive in the crazy traffic.

Again, highly recommendable for the kindness of the owner and the location

As I came to PMO, I felt immediately welcome like at home with Stefania and Giacomo. They helped me with my broken car and the room was as comfortable as anyone can suggest.
The situation is perfect - direct in the city centre and all the interesting sites are nearby, in walking distance. And while they solved the "problem" with the traffic noise with new doublefaced windows, I slept wonderful. =) Thanks for all - we'll see us soon once again, for sure! Pat

Six in the family stayed at the Palco for three nights. We had previously arranged for driver and tours of Sicily through the owners tour company and moved our hotel reservation when they opened this lovely "bed and breakfast" -ish, but utlra modern hotel. Giacomo and Stephania could not have been more gracious hosts. They really treated you like part of the family. The breakfasts were so good - with homemade and organic treats. The rooms are very modern, with overall white themes which were very soothing in the middle of the very busy Palermo! They had just recently installed sound-proofed windows as well so they were also very quiet. The Romeo and Juliet suite is lovely, with a large jacuzzi tub, rain shower and chromotherapy. The hotel location is also great- looked righ out to the Teatro Massimo. We also highly recommend the tour service - Giacomo knows Palermo and Sicily so well and he also recommended very good restaurants (Cancelletto Verde and Napoli Mazzarella di Bufala), a fantastic gelato place (Brescia) and took us to a fantastic winery for a lunch and tasting.

Room Tip: Romeo and Juliet is the largest of the rooms. Teh others were also very nice, but had smaller bathrooms.

My twelve year old son and I stayed here for four nights at the beginning of April, 2013. We were fortunate to be their very first guests after opening a few days earlier. It was obvious that the couple managing this hotel put a lot of effort into the renovation of this top floor apartment building, made out to be hotel rooms. The rooms are beautiful and as are the bathrooms. The location is excellent and we got around Palermo by foot and by bus. You do not need a car if you stay here. If you speak italian, english or german you will be well taken care of by this sincere Italian/Swiss couple. We spoke both english and german with them. The price for the room was very reasonable considering how nice it was. It is located on a busy corner so you do hear traffic. This would be the only drawback in my opinion. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Palermo!

Dear Mr. Robert,
thanks for your comment.
We were very happy to have her as our guest, and we hope that you can come back and visit us soon.

I also wanted to inform you that we have proceeded to install double glazing, so as not to have any more trouble from outside noise.

Best wishes
