We found this restaurant on trip advisor and was just delighted with our experience. The owner/chef, Diego makes wonderful home made pasta, fish and sauces. The fish just melted in our mouths. His sister and brother are the wait staff and we felt like we were in a cousin's home for dinner. Though difficult to find, up a narrow street, around the corner, with a proper map, you will have success. Nicoli, the brother, pointed us to the local market just down the street which was a wonderful, local experience as we walked in Palermo. You will enjoy this lovely restaurant, the family and most of all, the food.

I really enjoyed my whole dining experience and the hospitality of the chef and staff. Right from the start, we were greeted by complimentary aperitif and some bread. The chef personally came out to greet us and explained some items on the menu and showed us the fish of the day. for each of our dish, the chef also came out to explain to us the ingredients used. it was a truly enjoyable (and entertaining) dining experience. The chef is quite a showman :)

We found this little familiar restaurant through tripadvisor and it was a great surprise! Delightful food, friendly staff and superb presentation make this restaurant a must in Palermo. The cooker himself explains you the dishes and everything related with the preparation of them. Not the most centric place but really worth going (although is located in Ballaro district and 10 min walking from the cathedral, but not in a main street).

Try the Antipasto, calamari or the pasta. Everything we tried was fantastic. Perfectly mixture of traditional sicilian cuisine with a modern touch.

From the moment you enter this tiny, yet warm restaurant near the Ballaro market, you feel at home. The chef welcomes you with some lovely starters and a cocktail while you peruse the menu. Take your time to consider the wonderful array of pasta and meat dishes, but don't skip the starters! We loved our cheese and fig appetizer and absolutely adored the pasta. If you don't secure a reservation, come early (8pm) or you won't find a seat. Also be prepared for the Chef to check in on you after every course - he clearly cares about his guests!

Charming family restaurant serving excellent food freshly prepared typical of the region. Service is particularly friendly with the chef coming to our table to explain what was being served. Excellent value. Clean and welcoming. Worth seeking it out in this little back street not far from the Ballero market .
