Description: Old Town, creative cuisine Tradition and innovation, experience and continuous search for new combinations. The creative cuisine is never out of nowhere, the ingredients and techniques of traditional cuisine, especially of a land rich in flavors such as ours Sicily, are always a starting point, a cultural background, a continuous path that leads to new experiences flavor. Contrasts that come out is often concealed the success of an unforgettable recipe. Three rooms - a sort of "projection of an internalized landscape" according to the description of the author of the project - will welcome you in a comfortable and seductive where the sight, taste, smell, and feel of our dishes will involve in a contamination of the senses, even your hearing and enjoying them... you can hear "The Eighth Note".

The waiter was great, but the food was very disappointing. They tried too hard with complex dishes that has no taste and no seasoning. They give us olive oil ice cream for dessert and it tasted like cold olive oil paste.

Nice small place, good service. We had risotto, not the best we had in Sicily. Pastas were much better. Great wine selection, at fair prices for the venue.

We popped in for Sat lunch during winter. Arrived at 12.30 as per opening time on website, was told they don't open until 1 pm...we were the second group turned away. As we were staying across the road in Via Butera 28 apartments (great accommodation) it wasnt a big deal....we returned at one and were provided with delicious olive oil drizzled bread and homemade olive tapenade which was yum! We shared a starter of eggplant fritters with burrata for eight euros, light, tasty and left us wishing we had ne each! Mains were roast lamb chops with vegetables...good but not great(coming from NZ its hard to find great lamb elsewhere!) and white fish with potato, pernod and fennel. Fish was delicious, light and a lovely blend of flavours. Mains ranged from about 12 to 20 euros from memory. Service pleasant and not obtrusive.

What a pleasant surprise after 10 days of the stale bread, antipasto in Bain Maries, boring spaghetti Norma and dried out fish typically served in Sicilian restaurants, surrounded by photos of Mt Etna and greek and roman ruins! We stepped into a small, trendy restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The waiter was friendly, the bread and olive dip were delicious and the rest of the menu only got better and better. The decor is funky but not cold. The prices are reasonable. All in all this is an absolute must if you want to eat well and are sick of the tourist trattoria trail. We ate there twice and are very glad we did!
