Having wandered purposefully about Palermo for this, our 5th day, we planned our jaunt to bring us to Ristorante Luci e Calici for lunch. Arriving there at 1230, we were early, and so told our server "no hurry." After ordering water and a whole bottle of Prosecco - after all we were weary and had decided to enjoy a drawn out meal - our server, who was wearing a Las Vegas Fire Department shirt, and, we saw, gets around on a Harley, explained the three fixed price options. On returning to our table later he asked where we were from, and when we said Virginia, USA, he stepped over to a wine display and removed a bottle of Barboursville cabernet, produced and bottled about 70 miles from our home.
We were very pleased with our meal choices, as well as the service and hospitality, and impressed too that they have electrical outlets for, in our case, recharging a camera battery. If you are looking for excellent food and service in a classy, quiet atmosphere we highly recommend this establishment.
