We had a very nice dinner at the Antiquario. The atmosphere is charming and the staff friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty as well.

We went at 7PM, a nice respectable American time, outrageously early for Palermo natives. So, we were alone for the first half hour or so. The staff was nice and did there best to make us comfortable. The food was good.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and a small group of us had dinner one evening. We were so impressed by the food...try the swordfish, either grilled or my favorite, the involtini that we decided to book it for a large group meal on our last night in Palermo. The staff were so accommodating and provided us all with a beautiful meal accompanied by some gorgeous Sicilian wines. It’s a family business with the limoncello (strong!) and the cassata being homemade. The dining room is a lovely space to have a fantastic meal in Palermo.
Grazie a tutti. Norma.

We had wandered past the restaurant during the day and thought the menu looked good and restaurant looked nice so we returned in the evening without a reservation. Fortunately they had an available table inside, otherwise it was to be al fresco dining which normally is fine, but the restaurant is on quite a busy street so not the ideal outdoor dining experience.
Our primi pasta dishes were excellent and our secondi fish courses were divine. We were stuffed and couldn’t face pudding but did imbibe the in-house made limoncello which was the best limoncello we’ve had and we’ve been to Capri and the Amalfi Coast!
Just a couple of minor negatives that prevent it being 5 star: 1 - paper serviettes! When spending over €100 on dinner, it’s always nice to have cloth napkins. And 2 - as others have commented, the lighting is very very bright. It doesn’t make for a romantic meal setting but hey ho, forgot romance, the food is worth it!

I had to make the smallest deduction for the quality of the tomatoes. Not the best. However, in all other respects this is an excellent restaurant. The food is superb. The service is perfect. Yes, a bit expensive, but in this case you get value for your money.
Started with a caprese salad. Wonderful mozzarella. Not so great tomatoes, but seasoned perfectly. My wife had the giant prawns, and I had the swordfish involtini. And of course some wine.
For dessert we opted for limoncello. Turns out it is made in house. And great. The perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
