One of the best meals during our month in Sicily. Really interesting and well prepared food. Wines are priced lower than other restaurants we visited. Our only criticisms are very minor. The room we were seated in was rather lacking in atmosphere and the service was slightly brusque, but we can overlook those things for a dinner like the one we ate. We planned to go back, but they were closed the following night.

During the second week of December 2012, we ate dinner here two nights in row. We were so pleased with the food from the first night that we both ordered the exact same thing the second. I had the rabbit with chopped pistachio nuts rolled into it. My friend had the gilthbream (white fish) with potatoes, olives & tomatoes. We split an order of the caponata with chunks of swordfish in it. The prices were reasonable. We learned of La Cambusa from the owner of B&B Novecento--he never steared us wrong. The waiters were good; the same two were working both nights we were there.

find a restaurant in palermo was really hard. behind the main streets the city looks half terrible so we where happy getting a tip to come dinne here in the wine shop not far a way at corso emanuele.

simple without much decoration, the terrasse and also inside but already had a look at the nice plates we took a set.

the caponata as a cold starter was great, the house prepare it with olives, capres, fish and other vegetables - was delicouse. the combination of bresola with melon also nice.

involtini and the lamb where also nice.
