I stayed here in 2011 and it has stayed with me since. Such a fantastic hotel in the heart of the wonderful Palermo. The rooms were immaculate and thankfully cool on an unforgiving Sicilian summer day.
The hotel owner was a gem, even returning a 'left in the wardrobe' sweater and providing us with his mobile for any queries we had while roaming his beautiful city.

I had low expectations for our B&B stay in Palermo because it was a bit challenging to find the 'front' door - walk behind a building, across a courtyard and enter a hallway of an older building. But once you buzzed the intercom and were greeted by owner, Giuseppe Scaccianoce, everything changed. Giuseppe was gracious and welcomed us to the quiet and charming B&B. We had a lovely, spacous room with a queen size, comfortable bed, large bathroom and cable TV. The rooms were spotless and serviced daily. The continental breakfasts were an abundance of delicous pastries, freshly baked breads, fruit, yogurt, juices, cereals, etc...and of course, any kind of coffee you'd like. I still wish I had taken a photo of the charming breakfast room and food display. Finding a quiet hotel, let alone B&B in a big city is hard to find but this was incredibly quiet - we didn't hear the celebrating in the streets of the European cup game against Germany! Giuseppe was extremely helpful suggesting restaurants, sites and day trips, and a lovely gentleman. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this B&B.

Room Tip: all rooms were quiet and well maintained

This B&B doesn't need much further words to what already said by previous visitors to describe how beautiful, perfectly located, and well managed it is! My husband and I had a lovely stay a few weeks ago, and hope to come back on our next visits to Palermo. We were driving and could park the car in the private parking of the building. Rooms are gorgeous, ample, very well-designed with plenty of space for luggage, clothes, good shower, LCD-TV with plenty of channels, AC, Wi-fi… what else are you looking for!? Breakfasts are served in the veranda, with plenty of fresh fruit, a variety of sweat biscuits and croissants, yogurts, and freshly squeezed Sicilian oranges! Do not miss it!

Stayed at the PP for two nights. One night with friends and one night on my own. Giuseppe was brilliant. He recommended two great restaurants, made sure I had breakfast really early before I left and was generally funny, friendly and knowledgable. The room we stayed in was beautiful and spotless. The location is perfect, set back off a busy road so it's simultaneously quiet and right in the heart of things. STAY HERE! You won't regret it.

Stayed at PP for two nights. It was a lovely B&B with everything first rate.
Quiet. Roomy. Good facilities. And in an insanely great central location.
Giuseppe was a great host. Funny, helpful, caring and informed. Gave this very
savvy traveler and his wife great restaurant advice and lots of transport and touring help.
He went out of his way to help get to places, feel the culture and see the sights.
He even came in at 5 am to make coffee for my wife because of an early flight! The man is a gem.
The B&B is great and you will enjoy it. Be sure you get good directions to find... it's down a tiny
street so the first approach might be challenging. Beyond that, and once you are there,
you'll enjoy yourself immensely. Tell Giuseppe the Malibu writer and the blonde sent you.

Room Tip: rooms are all good. just be sure you have the key to the gate and elevator

Palazzo Pantaleo was like staying at a gracious home under the watchful eye of hospitable and most helpful owner in the person of Giuseppe. Giuseppe met us on his motorino to guide us to the hotel, made dinner reservations for us and walked us to a nearby news kiosk to look for an American newspaper - incredible service.
The rooms were spacious, lovely and very clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Location was ideal, right in the center of the best part of town and most convenient to sightseeing, transportation, restaurants and cafes. The private parking was most welcome in bustling Palermo.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the Pantaleo.

Room Tip: All the rooms face a courtyard and are very quiet. Room #3 had a larger bathroom with a window.

Yes, stay here. It's great. That is all you need to know, but
there is more. Giuseppe Scaccianoce, owner and greeter, is a very unique
person. His ultra-dry sense of humor is always present, he is very attentive
to everyone's needs and is seemingly always on premise. He knows
Palermo well. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with classic furniture.
Breakfast is excellent and varied with a nice balance of fruit/bread and sweets. Location is excellent for
walking almost everywhere. Giuseppe gave us five restaurant suggestions,
four walkable, and then chided us, jokingly, when we left for
dinner at 6:30 pm. Suggestions were right on. Giuseppe wanted me to say
only bad things about Palazzo Panteleo and I am happy to disappoint him.

Room Tip: All rooms seem great, roomy, bright.
