“A very ancient castle”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2013

The little town of Acicastello is what you expect to see when you visit the island of Sicily. Nice seaside, with a huge promontory where a big castle lie on top, good spot for a refreshing ice-cream.
There are also couple of lovely fish restaurants nearby.

“Gorgeous view...relax”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2013

Beautiful little place with scenic views of the water, flowers, castle, island of Cyclops...little restaurants, gelato shops...parks, just an all round great place to spend the day hanging out with family & friends. Nice little 'park' near the castle to picnic with gelato & a restaurant should you prefer! Great place to take fotos!

“Memories from a childhood...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

When I was only a little boy, waiting for summer sundays was always a delight, because most of the time it meant a walk to the beautiful sea town of Aci Castello. Arriving there from Catania seafront, you immediately will face the castle built from Norman directly on the rocks. It is little, but impressive. And from its top you can see Catania's gulf. To conclude properly your visit, an icecream is a must. Don't miss!
