“Wonderful”

It's definitely a "must do" trip as it is totally awesome and breath taking. If youre up for a nice hike that will pay off in the end just do this. One tip is to take the evening session 18-23u because then you see more of the lava effects. Even more action is to hike downhill with headlights!!! This is abosutely an excursion i will always remember. Especially the hosts Giorgio and companions are VERY friendly. They even organized a small picnic on the mountain. Abosutely great. Thanks again Giorgio for a wonderful day!

“Exciting awesome Etna”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

So exciting to explore an active volcano in safety and with ease. Etna is accessible, whether you drive yourself, take a coach trip, or best of all hire a local guide for an off road adventure. Like Etnaround!

“Other worldly”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Not to be missed. We took the cable car and bus to around 2600 meters. Couldn't go higher due to lots of volcano activity. The sound made by the volcano was spooky. Bring binoculars or look through the stationary ones-- we could see rocks spewing from the volcano. Check out some of the nearby caves too.

“Expensive but worth it”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Went up by cable car and then jeep. Very interesting. Good guide. Excellent views. Quite a memorable experience. Quite pricy (just under £100 for 2 people) but I suppose ok for a one time go. Try honeys in parking area - the guys were great we tasted practically everything they had for free!
