The attention to detail and sense of hospitality at Hotel Lucrezia is hard to overstate. From the moment you walk in to the beautifully renovated villa, with its antique olive press and cellars, to the moment they wish you farewell, the staff goes out of its way to please and provide. The welcome drink, the carefully manicured garden, the tastefully decorated rooms...a real pleasure.

And they are genuinely nice people, willing to go beyond the "requirements." On our way out, rushing to catch a flight, I left my favorite jacket on the bed. In no time, I had an email confimring they had found it, and a few days later a tracking number with express delivery back to the United States. Talk about "above and beyond..."

Thank you so much for making our "baby moon" a pleasure!

After making a long drive from the north of Sardinia we finally made it to Riola Sardo's Hotel Lucrezia. Tucked in a small town you could almost miss the Hotel. But once you step inside you are welcomed by a huge courtyard with a variety of fruit trees. The staff was very accommodating and showed us to our amazing room. As we were getting settled, they brought us a bottle of local wine and a bit later we were introduced to a local cocktail and some food while we sat under a huge fig tree. Anything we need the staff was there to help us with as far as reservations to restaurants, beach towels and umbrellas or directions. Breakfast was also amazing. Another hard place to leave. So glad we found this little gem.

This is a delightful hotel centred around a large courtyard with discrete areas to sit and relax. The bedrooms are spacious and well furnished with antiques. The en-suite facilities are tasteful and modern. Continental breakfast is supplemented by a cooked option. The staff are very helpful and all of them speak English. Complimentary afternoon/evening refreshments in the beautiful courtyard sum up the whole experience of staying in this hotel. The hotel is ideally placed for holiday makers who wish to explore the area by car and there are many excellent restaurants in nearby Oristano.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road are subject to early morning agricultural traffic noise. If the double glazed...

What a wonderful experience in this well restored Sardinian home: The suite was exceptionally comfortable, clean and tastefully kept. Paulo, Claudia and Serena were perfect hosts, only too happy to assist with guests requests. An incredibly prolific wisteria grows in the garden creating a canopy of purple. tea in the idyllic courtyard/garden after a day visiting nearby ruins is heavenly- one almost feels like Judi Dench may just appear for tea - An artists hideaway!

We stayed for four nights and wished we could have stayed for a month.
When you go to this Hotel, you feel as if you were staying with friends, but you never worry about imposing on them. From the individually appointed rooms to the before-dinner-drinks lovingly prepared in the small garden, this is an oasis that you will long remember.
The place is very charming and sophisticated, in an unpretentious way. This is a family property that was turned into a hotel, and has been lovingly managed since.
Lucrezia proves that you can match, and even possibly exceed, the appeal of luxury hotels while remaining affordable. It boasts a huge amount of charm, a convenient, if not impressive location and friendly, attentive yet discreet service that always makes you feel that the staff is there when you need it, but never obsequious or intrusive.
When in Sardinia, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, but those on the courtyard (not in the main building) have extra charm.

This little hotel is just full of atmosphere and lovely staff. We stayed for 4 nights during September 12 and loved every day there. The rooms are all decorated with lovely antique furniture (and if you're lucky, your room might have an olive press from the 1700s), The little courtyard and garden is magical with a pomegranate and lemon trees and lovely seating areas dotted around. Breakfast is great with excellent cakes and do avail of the evening offer of a platter of meats and cheeses, bread and local wine - delicious. As I said before the staff are lovely and so helpful.
When you're there, please visit Elvio Sulas in the next street, who sells locally produced Organic Lavender oil. If you're lucky, he might show you his little musem and wine cellar. A restaurant I can most recommend is Pesca Tore - just get the hotel to reserve a table. We will definitely be back next year!!
