We stayed here one night on our cross island drive. It was quite nice. The staff were good, room decent, and Internet WIFI fast. The complementary breakfast was ok. The cappuccino machine wasn't working too well but other than that it was good. Would stay here again if in the area.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in Oristano. My wife and I spent four nights here in August as we used it as a base to visit nearby Sinis Penninsula.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Had a great small pool for a cooling dip and relax on a sun lounge.
The buffet breakfast each morning was fantastic. Wide choice of breads, local pastries, fruit, cereals and hot dishes. The wait staff were friendly and attentive bringing us freshly made capuchini each day.
Similarly the dinner at the hotel was great and first class. We had the fixed menu one night and a la carte another both were very memorable.
Will stay there again sometime when return to Sardinia

The check in process was super easy, thankfully the front desk knew English to avoid our struggle with Italian. We are very appreciative of that.

The family room was nice with ample space, good temperature, etc. I could have had more pillows (I didn't ask), but it could be a European thing.

Our only gripe was the restaurant (they have two) opened at 1930 and only had a set menu. The spaghetti looked appealing, but had fish eggs in it, so no go for us. The front desk did recommend and call a neighboring pizza place which was delicious and 4 blocks away.

All in all, we're very happy with our stay and it was the best hotel we had in 3 nights on the island.

Definitely recommend.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at The Hotel Mistral 2 in Oristano, Sardinia. We booked online and went with the hotel due to its location and good reviews.

I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were clean and well kept. The inhouse restaurant was good and great value. The bar was so reasonable! A large vodka and tonic + a soft drink for 4 Euros! The pool was clean and in usually free with plenty of sun beds to use + there was an outside patio area to sit and have drinks. The wifi was plentiful and never dropped out; not only was there strong wifi in our room, it was in the communal areas too. It was so useful and generous; so many hotels claim to give you wide-ranging wifi and you get there, only to find that you've virtually got to stick your arm out of a window to make it work!

By far, the best aspect of this hotel was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to help us. After a day of travelling, we rocked up outside Oristano train station at around 11pm on our first night. There wasn't a taxi in sight and we had lots of luggage. After waiting around for a while, I decided to try the hotel to see if they'd book us a taxi to pick us up. Not only were they happy to help, a taxi arrived within 5 mins and we were checked in and lying on our lovely beds by 11.30!

As lovely as all the staff were, special mention must go to Betty, the hotel manager. She went out of our way to help, offering advice, putting us in touch with a driver who took us to parts of Sardinia we would never have seen (we didin't have a hire car), and giving us advice on where else to go via train, taxi, bus etc. She gave us guides and maps and always made sure we were ok. We simply wouldn't have had as good a time if we hadn't met Betty.

Oristano lacks quality hotels but this place is perfectly adequate, albeit a little dated. Staff are friendly and helpful and there's also a small pool. Breakfast was pretty awful with limited choice but that's not unusual in Sardinia. The rooms are fine, if rather bland and in need of modernisation. However, it has parking and is a 5 minute stroll to the old town.
