The hotel is simply gorgeous, our room was as large as a suite and sparkling clean. The staff, especially Chiara at reception desk, Matteo the smiling lifesaver and Fabio, the efficient gentleman who helped us with breakfast were first class. And the view, what can I say. Will definitely go again.

Stayed here many times for anything between one and three nights. Rooms are typically Italian ie, sparsely furnished but clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi is intermittent and signals are weak almost everywhere. Restaurant menu is fairly limited. A few restaurants within walking distance with the best ones being along the beach.

We came here late Aug/early Sept '13 on our honeymoon for 10 nights on a B&B basis. Stayed in a room in the Beach House part with a seaview...view was lovely (probably best part of the hotel overall) but the size of room and bathroom was quite small, considering cost per night was just under 300 english pounds. Breakfast was average: sliced cheese and ham, cold boiled eggs, cereals, yoghurts etc, though you can ask for eggs to be cooked how you want, eg scrambled or fried. Lunch was expensive, but food is good quality. Dinner menu changes nightly, though the amount of choice is very dissapointing! You really have to love seafood and fish and even then there are only a few dishes to choose from. Expensive, but generally good food and service is very good, throughout the whole hotel. Bar serve good range of cocktails. Small part of beach on hotel doorstep reserved for guests: more rocks than sand in the sea and constantly pestered by passing people attemting to sell you bags, glasses, toys etc..hard to relax there, so we ventured to hotel pool afterwards where it's small but much quieter!
Wouldnt stay at this hotel or in Pittulongu again (very quiet and not many places to see) but the seaview and good hotel staff managed to make our honeymoon still a very nice one, despite the other negative points.

I was with another person on a business trip in Olbia. We decided to break from the usual hotel scene and check into Pellicano. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The beach area is nice with helpful staff on hand. There is a grass area overlooking the beach that is very nice. The swimming pool is nice and there is ample lounges to sit around the pool. The restaurant is on the beach side and a majority of the rooms are across the street. The lobby to check in is across from the restaurant that is clearly marked. The air conditioning works excellent! The beds have firm mattresses, which are fine for me personally.
The restaurant is nice for dinner, with a nice selection of Sardinian wines and a friendly staff. They seem to speak English very well.
There is parking underground which is a bonus since a lot of people park on the street to gain public access to the beach adjacent to the Pellicano beach.
Over all, very nice, friendly and a relaxing place. I would recommend this hotel.

We are just back after a very pleasant week at the Pellicano d'Oro. We had a small room with direct view to the sea, the room was quite and comfortable. The hotel is set right on the beach which is wonderful, if you want you go directly from the bed to swim! Very nice and staff in general, always soom exceptions. You feel at home and it is indeed very relaxing. But there is a big but. They insist on playing bad shopping centre music all day long! No way to have five minutes pause which I asked for everyday. Since early in the morning music, often loud, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is something they should definitely do something about, especially when the clients complain. Otherwise very nice and we might even go back one day because the beach is great.

We stayed at Pellicano d'Oro for just 2 nights at the end of our stay in Sardinia and loved it. The hotel is on both sides of a little road, the main reception and some rooms are on the non-beach side of the road with the restaurant and the other rooms right by the beach. We had 2 rooms that didn't look onto the beach but were just round the corner opening onto a garden. The rooms aren't luxurious but are perfect - simple and beachy with a firm but comfortable bed, air-conditioning and block out curtains.
The restaurant is lovely, overlooking the beach. The Buffet Breakfast delicious. In the evening there was either a set menu which was fabulous or a menu with a couple of choices for each course. Although quite limited for children, the chef was very accommodating and cooked them some plain pasta. Otherwise, I believe there are burgers etc available earlier on from the beach bar.
The beach itself is rather nice, as are most of the beaches in Sardinia! Lovely clear water. The hotel has its own section with lounges and umbrellas, or you can lie on the lounges up on the lawn and have cocktails delivered to you.
Most of all, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was a problem for them. Everyone was extremely professional yet so friendly. I would definitely go back.

Room Tip: I would recommend the Beach House rooms located in the part of the hotel that is directly on the bea...

We stayed at this hotel for our last four nights in Sardinia. We wanted something near to the Costa Smeralda but quiet, something luxurious, chic, and somewhere we could completely switch off. The Pellicano was perfect.

The junior suite in the beach area (the hotel is split into two areas - pool/garden area with infinity pool, bar etc and the beach area with sunbeds), was stunning. Huge room with lounge area, gorgeous walk in shower and king size bed. We had our own terrace that walked out to the lawn and then to their private beach (with private life guard/sunbed and towel allocator!).

We were treated to a bottle of prosecco as it was our anniversary and we promptly changed from breakfast only to half board as the food was GORGEOUS!!!! (30 euros per person for 4 incredible courses).

In the day there is a lovely beach bar (Bellini on the beach anyone?!) that serves cocktails, coffees, snacks and ice cream.

Nothing is too much trouble here, from reception to barman to the restaurant staff. Attention to detail is amazing.

You had to drag me away on my final day and ill definitely be coming back!

Room Tip: The junior suites in the garden section have terraces and a sea view. In fact, 20 meters from the be...
