“Sardinian Basilica.”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Small Church by Italian mainland standards, but important to Sardinian people, and snow example of island architecture and art.

“Love the people of Olbia”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We had no idea what we would see when our cruise ship stopped in Olbia. On a whim we decided to take a guided tour of the town. The tour guide was an adorable, passionate young woman, who clearly loves her country. She took us to the town square, through a small shopping area and to this church. The basilica is beautiful and simple as its name implies. There were several elderly parishioners there who seemed happy to see us - especially if we made a donation to the preservation fund. If your trip takes you to Sardinia, see Olbia. It is worth a little time.
