Only good things to say. Huge kingsize bed, nice rooms, friendly staff, free airport shuttle, internet.

The most impressed i was with the restaurant. Best food i had in sardinia for 2 people, 4 courses with drinks for 50eur

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a great time. Service ( including room service ) was fantastic ! Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was more than we expected - great selection of everything, nothing was missing, great coffee and i also have to mention prosecco! Very good quality of products. Room was big, clean with a nice, bright bathroom. Also convenient location - walking distance to high street and all restaurants. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away (turn left). I also liked the way this hotel was designed in a shape of a boat. Its easy to find even if you take a bus from the airport. Free car park. Thats a pitty there is no iron ( or pressing board) available and you need to pay for laundry service if you want to iron your dress or shirt - but we found it to be a case also in other hotels in Sardinia we stayed in.... If im ever in Olbia again, i will stay at this hotel.

Stayed at Mercure for 2 nights in total during Sardinia/Corsica vacation. The stay was perfect: quick check-in, modern and clean room, good breakfast, excellent value for money ratio. This hotel is brand-new, always a pleasure to stay in new hotels. The room was large and contemporary designed and equipped. Air-condition was very effective, minibar, large bathroom, comfortable bed. The only downside is the lack of English TV channels, but who cares? We came to Sardinia not to watch TV!

Buffet breakfast was nice. I wouldn’t say there were billions of choices, but the selection was enough for us to eat well to start the day. Besides tea/coffee/juices there was champagne in the offer.

Hotel has a free underground garage; that was really useful since parking nearby is not easy. Also they have spa centre, but we didn’t manage to try it since every time we were back to the hotel in evenings the spa was already closed. There is not free Wi-Fi in the room, but 50 meters from the hotel one may get free Wi-Fi right on the street.

The hotel building is remarkably designed in shape of a bull arena or donut with large airy space in the middle. Rooms are located in the perimeter of that donut facing to different sides. Some views are not charming since the hotel is situated next to train tracks. The hotel is very easy accessible from the airport. 10-15 minutes of walk to the city centre.

This hotel is definately still in the soft opening stage having only opened at the beginning of August, so the roof top bar was yet to open.

Location was very convenient for train station & airport bus - we had been travelling around Sardinia using public transport. This does mean that many of the rooms will overlook the railway tracks which run behind the hotel - so not the most scenic views. It also felt like a slightly edgier part of town, though we didn't experience any problems. It was about a 10minute walk to the main drag along the Corso Umberto where most of the restaurants & bars were located.

The advantages were a very clean hotel & a good room rate. The disadvantages was it felt like they had rushed to finish it & some of the glitches hadn't yet been ironed out.

I think the main area of the hotel had been designed to look like the inside of a cruise ship with rooms coming off an eliptical balcony overlooking a huge mosaic on the ground floor.

On arrival we were given our room key and told a room number which didn't correspond to the one written on the card, when we went to the room we were told to go to, the door unlocked to reveal the room was already occupied, the room number written on the card didn't open. The staff rapidly sorted this out and issued us with the correct key, and once in side room was large and spacious and very clean.

The sliding wardrobe doors wouldn't open fully as the safe was blocking them - very poor design layout. The end slats on the bed were broken - only a problem if you sat on the end of the bed to watch TV. It was very comfy to sleep on. The TV reception on the BBC world channel was intermittant.

The lift was very warm but the rest of the airconditioning worked well.

Breakfast buffet was very pleasant, though my partner a huge coffee fan thought it was the worst coffee he had during our entire trip.
