Location
By taxi from Olbia airport around 10-15 minutes (€25) just outside the centre of Olbia- probably 20 minute walk- nearest shop is around 5 minutes walk with ATM about 10.
Room
Room is really nice, modern, clean and has a boutique feel to it. High tech digital aircon, many different lighting including side flexi-reading lights -a nice touch. Plugs were plenty and close to bed which when charging a phone is great. The bed is large queen (almost king) and was very comfortable slept very well. There is a table and small arm chair both modern boutique design, a desk which is also used as the coffee/tea facilities and where the modern TV is. The Tv offers many channels as is full satelitte, 97% is in Italian but you will find BBC news and some French and German options.
The bathroom is very nice and includes a shower with three different heads, worked well but quite a confined area, there is also a bidet and some nice branded "citron" amenities that include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. There is a large powerful hair dryer also.
In addition this room included a balcony with two straw table and chairs with a pleasant view of Olbia, it is quite spacious and the only part of any room where smoking is allowed.
Facilities.
There is a central full service bar called flamingo and a restaurant buffet but did not use these facilities. In addition noticed a business centre. There is a nice looking shaped pool- all brand new and gym on top floor (although did not see). WIFI is free but requires password requiring alot of effort to get to the login screen (possibly a mac issue as same with iphone) once connected- sometimes fast and other times does not respond now and then which was frustrating when on business- if it was normal WIFI without these issues would give 5 stars.
Staff
Staff are really nice, check-in and check out was smooth and staff there were helpful guiding me (using a map) to closest ATM & small shops, restaurants etc (10 min walk).
Overall would definitely stay here again as very new & clean, slept well and overall staff were lovely- just need to sort out their WIFI.

Room Tip: Buy water from machines at elevator (2 Euro) or even cheaper from local shop (1 Euro)- mini bar char...

The hotel is in a wierd location in the city , but there are other advanteges- good and clean rooms, good food, friendly staff. 5 minutes in car from the center of Olibia, and in a great position if you are going to Costa Smeralda's beaches.

Double Tree in Olbia is the only Hilton Hotel in Sardinia, but tis hotel is great.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, good food and the brekfast is excellent. This hotel is location is perfect if you want to take day tours in north of Sardinia. I stay more than 50 nights per year at different Hilton Hotel and this Hotel follow Hiltons profile to take care of the guest at in the best way.
Locations of the hotel is not in city center but still a good locations.

It's new, it's safe, it's a Hilton. And then, don't expect it to be anywhere near the town centre, it's conveniently located near the road leading to Costa Smeralda and a good stopover place, just five minutes from the Olbia port if you are coming by car from Italy. The pool is nice too but it's like built on the middle of a corn field in the outskirts if the town. The rooms are nice and spacious and we could definitely return here for a night or two.

Perfect brand new hotel in perifery of Olbia.
So far there is no way to investigate Sardinia without car, little remote location is far positive. The way to the center takes only 15 min by walking, nice Olbia park is very close.
The hotel territory is large with big parking, rooms and balconys are spacious. Everything is new and shiny. And their "sweet dreams" bed is extremely comfortable, didn't want to woke up in the morning!
Stuff is friendly and lovely, gave us advises about popular beaches and places in Olbia region.
The only thing I would improve is gym. It's tiny and monotonous, different bicycles...elliptical seemed fragile:)
In one word - the hotel is highly recommended.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at this hotel. The beach was only a 10 minute bus ride away - Pitulingo was our favourite beach (only 1 euro for a 90 minute bus ride if you buy in local toacconist). Local food and wine very good and hotel food also very reasonable and good quality. Hotel is easy 10 min walk from olbia and would recommend car hire to see this beautiful island

Stayed there for 10 nights.
Searched on the net/tripadv. and their homepage beore booking it.

Room: spacey, fresh, clean and with great bathroom and beds. Aircond. was just perfect. Also good waterpressure in the shower. Great curtins with sun-blending. You sleep in total darkness!
Minibar contained just water with/without sparkling, but it kept your bottles etc cold!
Hairdryer was good. An own towl-dryer was excellent for our beach towls and swimwear. TV with maaany channels, but 98,9% was dubbed into...yes...Italian.. :)

Hotel facilities: excellent swimmingpool and sunbeds. Ok fitness room. Could be bigger and better equiped, but you can do some basic. Only two lifts that could take you on "a tour" before it let you off. Should be one more? But not a serious problem.. Cool decoration in the hotel. Modern. Light colors. Fishtank at the reseption could have been placed higher so you coul see what they had in it. Or is it just for kids? Knocking on the glass... Fresh and nice hotel in total!

Breakfast: hmm.. "Juice" should be juices from the fruit, not som waterout limonade..! Applejuice was the only one worth drinking. The orange juice was the worst ever! Its not a buffet that blows your mind, but it is ok to start the day. BUT I MUST brag about one thing: they make you a customized omlet IF YOU ask for it. They bring it o your table rather quickly! So a great added value there! Coffe was ok. So total points: ok! :)

Service: the staff are really helpfull and try their best to make your stay as best as possible. So thanks to all the staff from reception, restaurant, cleaningstaff and all other we came in contact with. Passion for doing a good job! Special thanks to Vanessa at the restaurant. Always a big smile and superb service attitude for the customers!!

Location: well, after some differnt attemps to walk to the city center, we found a ok route. It takes about 12-15 min from the hot untill you are at the start of the old city. Its not close to any thing, but its just a little walking and you are downtown..

Extras: On their homepage it was mentioned that they offered a free shuttlebus to the beach - daily. This could be better informed in the reception area. They did not tell about it. When we asked, they recomended the local busses due to more flexibillities than the shuttle... :)
When we desided to try, they told us that you had to book it one day before.. So the third day we managed to get it right. Then they surprised us with a private driver and his Mercedes! :) We felt like VIPs de lux! To days we had fun and great experience with this before we picked up a rental car to explore more places further away. So if you ask for it, you will get it.. Other couples experienced the same "routine".
Free wi-fi.. Again, you have to ask for it. It worked great on grondfloor and near the reception, but a the room, higher up, it was just useless most of the time! 01:30 AM it was Ok, because the most guest had logged of at that point.. But when you finally came oneline (slow line), it was free.. :)
Free parking on a secured place. That was great! Free use of towels at the pool and in the fitness room. Soap, showergel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion on the bathroom - complimentory every day. Shampoo is like you could expect when it is free, but the rest was ok/good enough! :) Team of the collection: lemon!

Conlusion: we enjoyed our stay very much and can recomend it to other people. Hint: you should not be affraid of a little walking.. Its good for your health too.. The hotel is also great for people with a car/rental.

Room Tip: We booked several months ahead. Asked for a room high up and got it. Super!
