This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Italy. The hotel manager was a delight. So helpful and friendly, really took the time to make us feel welcome. We booked a standard room but he upgraded us - a great way to start!
The roof top terrace is not crowded, and offers the best view in town. You can sit and have a drink 24 hours. You can see for miles, a really great place to relax.
The room was big, great tv, comfy big bed, excellent air con (a must for summer in Italy). The bathroom was large and had a big bath and excellent shower with a strong water supply ( a rarity in Italy).
The location was perfect! One cute alley way back from the main strip of shops and restaurants. You can book all your tours etc through the hotel.
In terms of Olbia, I wouldn't stay anywhere else - it's ranked number 1 for a reason.
On a side note, we found Olbia itself to be expensive, with pretty average food at best. Use it as a base only - it has no nice beaches, and without a car you have to travel by bus one hour to the port of Palau for cruises around the Island. So don't expect to see beautiful Emerald Coast beaches within walking distance. It's still a nice little town though with a good shopping strip and plenty of cafes - don't expect gourmet food and be prepared to pay double what you would pay elsewhere in Italy.

Room Tip: The higher the room the better the view.

Clean, nice staff, good rooms, fantastic rooftop patio...this place is located close to shops, restaurants, and the main street in Olbia. Staff were very helpful in pointing out restaurants, beaches to visit, and other attractions. We had a car so this was an ideal place to stay for day trips up and down the coast of Sardinia. Fabio was so helpful and kind - as were the other staff in the hotel. If you have the time get a rental car and drive around Sardinia - there are some good beaches and interesting towns up and down the coast.

Stayed there for 2 weeks in July and cannot wait to return and meet all the people running the hotel again. Such a bunch of honestly friendly and service minded people I have never met in my life, meeting all our requests and questions with a smile and desire to help. They are more then happy to provide you with info on best beaches, where to eat and what to eat there, how to travel around, everything I mean everything was taken care of. Just to mention that we even got our own wifi router as we were not happy with the standard wifi in the hotel....how amazing is that! We also got to use their spa facilities so we could check out late in the evening which meant that we got a full day on the beach even the day we were leaving....

The hotel itself is really nice as well, comfortable fresh rooms, good beds, good aircondition, very clean, great location in the middle of the old city where all the restaurants, cafees' etc are. Their private parking is 100m away and if there are too many cars you can block anybody without a problem as you just leave the car key to the hotel staff and they will take care of moving the cars around....how nice. :)
The rooftop is also nice to sit and relax in the evening and watch the skies.

Breakfast is good with quality products although it does become a bit boring after 14 days of same things but if you stay 7 days then it is perfectly fine.

I'm afraid to miss something in my ranting about the hotel but it is enough to say that we will for sure return again next year and that they have for sure made our holiday even more memorable and pleasant then it would have been otherwise. And trust me....we are a very picky family who get easily annoyed when things are not as they should be but these guys just kept surprising us positively day after day. :)

Once again a big thank you to the whole amazing staff! :)
