We stayed one night at this accommodation and were really impressed. Even before arriving, the owner, Carmen, was contacting us and giving us pointers as to where to park how to access the hotels and highlights to see. We also asked about great local restaurants and were given a list of about 10 great places to try. The rooms are clean and spacious and lso centrally located to the old town. We loved the street it was located on, covered with amazing street art! Lots of shopping, restaurants and sights arr within a short walk. We even got tips about real estate as we fell in love with Cagliari after one night. We will be back to Sardegna and will definitlet stay at IoAMoCagliari again!

You allready notice while making a reservation. You know for sure when the driver who picks you up you at the AirPort is the houseowner herself: personal service will make your stay more worhwile than usual. The room I had was perfect. The rich breakfasts in Café Antico around the corner amidst the old Cagliarian men and women brought a nice Italian atmosphere. The tips for fishrestaurants were great. Carmen is a perfect host. I will return for shure. Ioamoioamocagliari.

We stayed one night (Sunday) and were very pleased with the central location, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. The free breakfast at the Caffe Antico , a few hundred meters away was also very good. The Antico is well worth a visit in its own right; a local institution!

The staff (owner?) was very friendly and helpful; we were allowed into our room well before check in time and the free transfer from the airport was very efficient.

However the shower room is very small (Room4) and the shower is possibly the smallest we have ever used. Space was so tight it was difficult to bend down to pick up the soap or shampoo! This of course might be age/fitness related!

Our other issue is specifically age/fitness related. Cagliari D'Amare is not on a vehicular street and access involves many steps. A problem with heavy bags and some limited mobility problems. The taxi driver and owner were very helpful on arrival but on leaving we had to fend for ourselves.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for those who aren't concerned about access.

This simple hostel is in the very center of Cagliari. Just in front of the statiin. I had to take the 6.45 flight in Elmas airport and could easily take the 5.26 train from Cagliari. the room where I slept was nice and clean. Spacious bathroom with very efficient shower. The bed is a large French (I like the size) - the only think is that the mattress was not very comfortable. Free wifi. The owner is a very kind and efficient person. I arrived late at night and this was not a problem. He even came to pick me up from a close restaurant.

Great room, terrace, kitchen, free water and tea and biscuits. Ideally located within walking distance of all the sights, shops, bars and restaurants and lovely breakfast in local café. Parking available close by.
