Description: An American Bar and pizzeria with a la carte menu too. Wonderful location with huge throng of people waiting for tables on a Saturday night. Excellent value for money even if the waiters are hopelss and slow - there is no rush as it is a great locaton from where you can watch the nightly "PASSAGIATA"

We had pizza here and you have a lot of varieties to choose among. The pizzas are made in a wooden oven and tasted well. But service can be better and the TV was very loud and annoying and disturbing.

My girlfriend and i stumbled on this place after a tour of the city. Amazing starter with local dried meats and cheese followed by very tasty pizza. Would recommend to anyone

Given its location, on a piazza alongside half a dozen other restaurants, this sort of place has to stand out in some respect in order to be able to secure its share of passing trade. Well, I guess it’s prominent advertising of a wood-fired pizza oven gave it that, but unfortunately it failed to deliver on the actual food side of things.

We ate here simply because they had a vegan main course on their menu (all be it a simple pasta and tomato offering) and the antipasti of Sea Urchin bruschetta sounded interesting to me. Sadly, it wasn’t as I’d expected. It was not a bruschetta it was simply some slightly stale chunks of ciabatta, burned in various parts while stark white in others, with no oil or garlic added. On top of this was unseasoned sea urchin, dropped into a small splodge in the middle. Tearing apart the bread in order to eat only the slightly moistened parts with the sea urchin was the only way of eating this one.

While my other half’s main course of mixed salad and grilled vegetables was okay (difficult to mess up, really) my pizza was disappointing. It was huge, so if value for money is your thing you may enjoy it, but it had little taste and relatively sparsely spread ingredients. Not much of an offering at all.

So go elsewhere. Cagliari has too much choice on offer for this to be the place where you end up eating.

Stumbled into this more by accident whilst trying to find a takeaway pizza. So impressed with the service that we went back three nights on the trot! Gorgeous place with a very reasonable menu. Quite busy when we went there but plenty of room and service very efficient. Pizzas are to die for and the Tiramisu...stunning. Very happy to recommend this one, would definitely visit again.

We were a group of 13, without reservation, but they accomodated us without a blink. It is worth it exploring the spaces towards the back, at the cave opens up in large volumes, then splits in various tunnels which are closed off by tents. It is said that those tunnels lead to the upper levels of the old town, under which they run, and that they help the royal family escape from a siege, few centuries ago.
Food wise, the 'Set menu - Sea' for €28 gives you a huge portion of 3 starters: smoked swordfish, prawns cocktail on salad and mussel soup, a spaghetti dish of your choice (I went for Carlofortina: fresh tuna & cherry tomatoes) and a jaw dropping mixed grill of fresh seafood. Ah, it also includes a bottle of mineral water or half a bottle of (good) wine. I had to ask for help, and we still couldn't eat the whole lot.
