Lovely atmospheric accommodation in the old part of town. The nicest part by far. The host Emanuele couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. If you want to self cater make sure to organise to have the gas set up before you arrive. Mind your head in the bedroom section!

Room Tip: If you intend to self cater organise to have the gas available before you arrive.

We spent 4 days here this week and couldn't have been happier with the location, service and price. The owner Emanuele is about as friendly as you can get without being over the top. He'd bend over backwards for you.
The place is spotless and well furnished with a small kitchen, clean bathroom and lots of space.
I honestly couldn't recommend Aigua more.

Aigua is in the middle off the old town. Perfect location. We had mini appartement 2, it looks lovely. On the internet it says that there is a small cookingplace, but this appartement doesn't have that. For us not a problem, because when you are in Italy, you let them cook for you!
Emanuel was as promised at the frontdoor when we arrived at midnight. He is a very good host and made us feel welcome immediately. The beds are very comfortable even although they are too short for us (couple 1.83 and 1.96 m). I would really reccommand this place to anyone who wants to stay in Alghero. I know we will again.

Emanuel the owner was very friendly and helpful. He's an architect and has designed the lovely rooms in the old town perfectly. If you'd to stay right in the middle of the old town, steps away from lovely food and wine, in a very funky and memorable place - choose Aigua. We'll definitely book again if we head back to Alghero.

We stayed here for 2 nights 23rd-25th of September and loved it - charming, character-ful accommodation in a central, peaceful location within the quiet and historic old town. Breakfast for the 2 days was provided (Italian law regulates that B & B breakfasts cannot be freshly prepared - they have to be pre-packed). Fresh fruit and biscuits were also provided, and Emanule, the very helpful owner had also left some fresh milk, as I had requested (- not a lot of shops being open on Sundays). We loved our little attic bedroom, and watching the street below from the room window. Emanuele was very courteous and helpful, and gave us lots of tips and recommendations for eating out, etc. There was a beautiful Pasticceria (sweet shop) on the same street which smelt delightful on passing every morning - they sold the traditional Sardinian decorated sweets and biscuits. The apartment has a flat screen TV both downstairs and upstairs in the bedroom, and an added luxury was the Lavazza coffee machine. I loved getting up each morning and taking an early stroll through the quiet alleys of the old town before the day started in earnest. A charming and ideal location - free parking was availble nearby in the Piacca dela Pace. We loved it and would go back.

Great spot in the heart of historic Alghero, but quiet at night. Charming & clean mini appartment with coffee machine, fridge, airco and good beds. Small windows but a great view if you stick your head out :-). Very kind & helpful owner. We were a lot later than expected, but this was no problem at all. Useful tips for resturants and other addresses in the neighbourhood. Very good value for money.
