Just returned from a week at the Oasis hotel half board travelling with Tui. The hotel is not 4 star but you are not paying 4 star prices. The food was great, buffet style with plenty of choice. Drink prices reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Need a hotel card as the hotel does not take cash for drinks. The pool was a good size with plenty of sunbeds. Entertainment at hotel is limited. The hotel is situated opposite Maria Pia beach. This beach had the clearest sea I had ever seen in the Mediterranean. The hotel is situated around a 40 minute walk from Alghero old town. You can get the AF bus for 1.10 euros each way. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel. The old town is worth a visit. Also try the Blue Sky bar at the hotel Catalunya hotel for great views across Alghero. The is a Eurospin supermarket near to the hotel Catalunya which is a lot cheaper than the ISA supermarket which is nearer to the Oasis hotel. All in all a great chill out holiday.

Stayed at Hotel Oasis for a week this September. It’s in a great location , just across the road from the beautiful Maria Pia beach. It’s about a 40 minute walk into old Alghero or you use the unreliable public transport. There a few bars around and on the beach.
The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean with large shower room. The public areas and pool are also clean, and lovely gardens.
The food is fantastic, lots of choice and all traditional Sardinian food. We had thought that we would eat out on a few occasions but the food was too good to miss!!
The only slight criticism was that there was no atmosphere in the bar area at night, so we mostly went out after dinner.
Staff were helpful and polite.

Well-kept hotel run by a very friendly and welcoming team. Public areas clean and tidy, and rooms cleaned daily. Nice pools for children and adults.

Food was DELICIOUS. Lots of choice, catering for all tastes. Hotel also has mini-golf, pool table, table tennis and table football.

I’d have scored 5/5 if there was a little more atmosphere in the bar in the evening. Am not talking about organised entertainment, but would be good to make the bar an evening hub, as lacks a bit of soul.

Outside of the hotel, the local area is beautiful. Alghero is a vibrant, historic town. Lots of independent shops, and chilled bars, restaurants and gelato cafés. There are so many nationalities, it’s a great place to be.

We also went to Stintino, which was lovely to look at, though was incredibly busy. €25 for a brolly, table and two sun beds. I’d say the trip is worth it if you take a snorkel. The sea is so clear, you can see lots of different fish.

You won’t regret booking this holiday.
