stayed in b&b for 3 nights end of april and i will recommend it to all my friends. its location is a key that made our stay so much easier, every turn you take it will lead you to the sea, and after 3 hours we realized that where ever we go it would eventually lead us back to hotel ( i say hotel for really good reason it was run like hotel without all the fuss and officialities of a hotel ) so although we were first time in alghero we needed no maps, thought benebenniu looked after us so well we ended up with 2 maps witch they kindly gave us for free
location just perfect would expect to pay more for its location in fact there is a lot pricier b&b's around. if you take a bus from airport last stop will be 5 min away from b&b
rooms were clean over looking plaza and were bigger then we expected, thought plaza is busy till 11 or 12 at night that made no difference for us its quiet after, so if you early bird and go bed around 8 evening that might be a problem, thought double glazing helps if you close windows,
some one complained about breakfast i noticed in previous comment, what they don't realize is italian regulations on b&b witch prevents them from serving ''proper'' breakfast thought i dont know what is to complain cos our breakfast was more then enough actually it was to much yes its simple stuff but we were spoiled for choice
and last but not least friendliness and genuine help from maria and her mother was astonishing, from free maps advice on witch trips, restaurants to chose. helped us to rent a car ( we had a problem with renting a car in airport )
all and all will recommend to my friends and my only regret is we forgot to leave thank you note as we left in a hurry to airport...
