The flat looked reasonable at 550 euros for around 5/6 days. The hand over was straight forward a couple of copies of keys and that was it.
Firstly this does not sleep 8 people easily and there are not 3 bedrooms.
There are 2 bedrooms, good sizes with 2 single beds in each. One of beds was a campbed which was not stable at all. The mattresses are very old, lumpy with metal springs pointing out. If you have more guests than 4 you will have to use the mattresses which you will find in a cupboard and use them in the living room.
The living room is very basic..... an old 2 seater sofa with a small t.v with no signal. NOTHING ELSE. It is a large room with no armchairs, no coffee table, NOTHING. We basically had to use dining chairs from the kitchen to join those using the sofa.... this was very disappointing.
I am well aware that going on holiday to Alghero is about spending time in the open air however on a holiday you do expect to be able to socialise comfortably. The location of the flat is around 14 blocks walk from the main square, which might not be suitable for very young kids or older people especially as the apartment is up 8 flights of stairs on the 4th floor.
For 100 euros more you can find something much much better.
