“Local products, very good quality and low prices close to Alghero”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2013

We went to the agriturismo il porticciolo for a dinner. For a very reasonable price we ate cold and hot starters (all locally produced),two main courses(two pasta, one with meat and one vegetarian;and two different types of meat. One of them is the famous "porceddu",pork with potatoes).
As dessert we got faboulous torrone (also locally produced) with home made mirto or limoncello.

“grill with home made antipasti in a very beautiful agriturismo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

The grill menu starts with antipasti of home made salame, home made pancetta, all kinds of really good food from the own farm (agriturismo). The main dish contains grilled meat and you can eat as much as you like. In the end a particular dessert finishes the dinner which is worth much more than the price asked. The home made limoncello, mirto and other digestive drinks finish the excellent dinner.

“Beautiful place with great food and service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

We absolutely recommend dining in the restaurant as well as staying in the lovely, clean and fully equipped spacious cabins. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere. Really close to the sea/beach as well! Great dining for everyone, perfect staying for couples with or without children. Well worth the 30 min drive from Alghero!!

“Delicious...and everlasting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We ate here 3 days ago. I am still full, but strangely craving suckling pig. Absolutely delicious. The accommodation here was marvelous too with big comfy beds, working air con and a small but useful kitchenette. Thoroughly recommended!

“A week later and still full”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

My family and I went to Agriturismo Porticciolo based on the recommendation of a travel book. And we did not regret it. The food was wonderful, in huge portions and the five of us struggled to finish, I'm sure we left a third of it regrettably untouched. Even as a vegetarian on a pig farm I was completely stuffed of delicious food at the end of that lovely evening. The place had a warm local, caring feel to it, and the heritage and history of recipes travelling through generations was proudly presented but almost unnessesarily so. It was all in the atmosphere. The people were lovely, the animals friendly and the food fantastic. We experienced a few hours of bliss.
