We booked a wine tasting tour before coming to Alghero, and had a great experience. The owner was very knowledgeable and informative, and we had a great time at the wineyard. Tasted 4 wines and some olive oil, and we got some cheese and sausauge to complement the wines. We shared a taxi with another couple, which cut our expenses. Otherwise it would have been €50 for transport only, which is quite expensive for a €20 wine tour... But definitely worth coming, wonderful location and very interesting!

If you plan to go, please check their hours before you make the trek out there!!! When we went, the tasting room was only open from 3 PM-7 PM.

Based on another reviewers suggestion, my husband and I rented bicycles in Alghero and rode out to this winery. The bike ride was very nice but was a little scary at times as Italians don't slow down when they fly past you. Unfortunately, we didn't check the hours for tasting ahead of time and showed up an hour before they started tasting. The woman who was working there when we showed up wouldn't even let us stay on the grounds while we waiting for them to open which I thought was quite unacceptable. They are a hotel and they had guests so there was no reason to make us sit on the side of the road for an hour while we waited for the tasting room to open. There is NOTHING else around this place so our options were to wait for an hour or give up and go back to Alghero. After riding for an hour to get there, I was not about to turn around without getting some wine and olive oil first. This woman's attitude is the only reason they are only getting 3 stars and the reason we will probably never return if we go back to Sardinia.

When we were finally able to enter the tasting room we were welcomed by a very nice woman who led the tasting for us. The tasting cost 8 Euro which could be waived if you bought 3 or more bottles. We tasted their 4 wines and olive oil, all of which I thought were very good. I especially liked their white wine and the olive oil. Had we not been flying RyanAir, I probably would have bought a few bottles to bring home. The tasting room was cool and beautifully decorated. The woman leading the tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke very good English. It's unfortunate that our entire experience at the winery was not with her.

Dear guest,
I thank you for the comment because it can be useful for other people to know at what time we are opened. Fortunately, before coming, most people call us to ask what time we are opened as they reasonably think we cannot be opened all day, expecially at what is considered lunch time in Italy. You arrived at 2 p.m. , this is a time when in Sardinia most people are on the beach and all the commercial exercises are closed, and it is also when we take our break. We close the gate from 1 pm to 3 pm, the only reason why you found the gate opened is that a guest for the rooms has just arrived. The room service and the tasting room are 2 different things and as the tasting room is closed from 1 to 3 we cannot allowed people who are not staying tin the rooms to stay inside the property with a closed gate. I kindly asked you to come back when the tasting room was going to open. And at 3 you have done the tasting and you have been very happy with it. Do not shops or services in Germany have a time schedule? I think it is unfair to give a negative comment only because you could not do what you wanted during closing time.
Just an information to all other interested guests: tastings are every day from 3 to 7 pm, guided tours are only some days and by appintment only - Some days we are closed for particular private events....please contact us by phone or mail and we will inform about the best time for visiting us.

We went there as part of group of friends. She had a wine tasting set up, each of which came with some local cheeses or meats. The locale is lovely, watching the sun slide behind the hills with a refreshing breeze coming in was a great end to a great day. The white she poured was particularly nice, a good hit of salt at the end!

My wife and I spent a few hours at this beautiful vineyard in Alghero and had a great time. The owner gave us a great tour of her property and was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and funny. She walked us through the property and gave a us a lot of understanding about the history of her winery and the way they make their wine. It was a beautiful property and a nice little tour. The wine is not actually made at the vineyard because they produce such a small amount of wine, so we did not get to see any of the processing. We had a great wine, cheese and olive tasting at the end where all the combinations of wine and cheese were explained. Everything was delicious and indulgent, just the way our entire trip to Sardinia was. We ended up buying a few bottles of wine to take home to Canada.
