“Hearthy, tasty and friendly”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Note: You need a means of transportation to get here from central Alghero since it is about 2km from the airport. It's a rural setting with a large outdoor restaurant as well as indoor seats. It has a fixed menu which you will find excellent. Maybe a bit strange in its composition, but very tasty and filling. The service is very personal and friendly. I didn't really like that they projected a movie in one end of the restaurant. It kept stealing the attention from everybody instead of having a continuous conversation.

“Is good to be here !”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

The place is simple but nice , the athmospere also , not too cowded . So ambient OK . The food is various and is all about the tradition from Sardinia , have to say also the quality is all in all good . Something more tasty , some other less but still a good choice . Also my GF from Singapore gave her kind help to make the total population of the Porcetto ( suckling pig ) less in number , she ate like no tomorrow !
The fee for this pleasure is 35 Euro a person , and you have a fixed menu' with water , wine and coffee and cold mirto at the end . It worth the trip to come back .

“A lot of food”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

I think every agriturismo gives you too much food, but that is part of the experience. You want a taste of everything Sardinia has to offer and this place was extremely charming as you sit outside and see the pigs you are about to eat roasting over the open fire pit. I just recommend to pace yourself throughout this meal. You do not get a menu and everything, including wine, water and grappa is included in the very reasonable price. They had Pecorino cream cheese here, which was the only time we had it in two weeks in Sardinia. You get a lot of meat, cheese, deep fried zucchini blossoms (yum!), olives and some veggies. Next you are served two pasta dishes which are home made, one with a touch of mint, which was extremely refreshing. The final dish was a wild boar stew and everyone's favourite, a suckling pig, that skin is so crispy and delicious. The deserts were sub-par, but by the time they came around i didn't really want any more food. I would definitely recommend this spot.

“Amazing taste of Sardinia!”
Reviewed May 15, 2012

Went here off of a recommendation from a local winery owner, and couldn't have thanked her more. When we asked the concierge to make a reservation, he wrinkled his nose and asked if we wouldn't want to go to the more popular (I.e. touristy) agriturismo for dinner. We insisted on Barbagia and are so happy we did. The family atmosphere and incredibly friendly and accommodating server made the experience wonderful, and the food was just amazing. One of the best meals of my life for sure, although I had to be rolled home because I was so full! I couldn't eleven the bill, for such wonderful meal to be only $35 euros per person is mind blowing! Can't wait to come back!
