We visited this restaurant on the basis of its vegetarian label, my dining companion being vegetarian. Alghero isn't a hotspot for vegetarian food - and this restaurant is no exception to the rule and shouldn't claim to be. To be fair it did have a single vegetarian antipasti and main, but genuinely neither were pleasant. The anti pasti on offer was a very pretty timbale of diced carrot. Unseasoned and my companion left it. The only main course the potato filled local ravioli which were chewy and not in either of our views fine dining. My food was good. The suckling pig delicious. The location is prime with a marvellous view across the sea, but predictably this puts a premium on the price. Service rather self-important. Overall we were very surprised by the quality of some reports. It felt like a restaurant that feels it doesn't have to try very hard and I think visitors, certainly if travelling with a vegetarian can do much better.
