This place is really good. Good price and the best quality. Both pizza and pasta are top quality. Our favourite in Alghero.

We stayed at a hotel around the corner from this restaurant (La Playa - also very nice) and wanted to find somewhere local to eat out. We found this restaurant on Trip Adivisor on our 3rd night in Alghero and came back 4 times after! This is testament to our experience of the service, food and atmoshpere which were all fantastic. We tried Spaghetti Bolognaise, fresh swordfish, fillet of steak, pizza and mussells amongst others - all were delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly and welcomed us back each time with a smile. 5 star.

On recommendations from the nice couple at the car rental, we visited Alguer Mia, a small restaurang with 5 -6 tables outside and 10-12 indoortables . The foord was excellent! The staff very friendly. The atmosphere very Italian. Prices very fair.
Their pizzas are really worth a try and the filet of beef (medium rare) drowning in a creamy gorgonzola sauce aught to be mandatory. The Sardinien " Wines of the House" were on the same level as the food. One of the culinarien high lights of the week!
We noticed that they had a lot of delivery pizzas to locals witch often is a good sign.
Since we always try to find new places, I must shamefully, confess that we went there the next evening too.

Great seafood and an excellent spaghetti alle vongole.
We ate several dinners during or two weeks stay in Alghero here and we were always very satisfied with the food and the treatment.
We tried primi, different pastas, grilled meat and seafood with great satisfaction. The only thing we missed was the pizza mainly because we enjoyed the other dishes so much.
We travels a lot in Italy, both cities as seaside resorts, and can without hesitation deeply recommend this charming restaurant.

Sincerely
Joakim with family

The restaurant is located outside in the usual touristic area of the old town and has a small terrasse on the sidewalk of one of the residential streets. The restaurant also offers a "tourist menu" which sort of makes it seem like it could be one of these "tourist traps" you hear about but that's completely not the case. We initially decided to go there as it was close to where we were staying and the menu had both something appealing for kids and adults alike. We were actually quite surprised by the quality of the food. The service was friendly without going overboard. The waiter was polite, explained in detail the dishes we were interested in and came several times to our table to ask if everything was going well. My husband and I had a primi piatti of linguine with shrimp and the other one with salsicia, the kids had spaghetti bolognese and we followed with a secondi piatti: I had to try the famous aragosta catalana and my husband had the tuna steak. Both were excellent! The lobster did not come cheap but our waiter was honest, he picked it together with me, weighed it and asked me first if I was ok with the price. The dish was prepared to perfection and it was delicious, absolutely worth the money. I would say it's a must try in Alghero for those who enjoy seafood.
The portions are quite generous, the kids could barely finish their first course and for me, as a woman, just the lobster would have been more than enough. There is a 10% service added to your total bill, 15% if you sit outside.
The restaurant filled up with locals and in general it was a relaxed and friendly atmoshphere. It was a very pleasant evening for us, simple, laid back and with delicious food that you read Alghero is famous for! Worth another visit and to be recommended.
