“An ok restaurant spoiled by high winds almost blowing down their parasols”

We were sat outside, the restaurant is situated overlooking the port so on a windy night the parasols covering the diners outside were moving in the wind. As the winds got too high the staff had to move the diners off their tables and take down the parasols. We were just paying at this point in the evening so didn't really effect us.
The food was ok, nothing special, they forgot two of our starters, overall an average restaurant. There seemed to be many waiters on our table, as if no single waiter was in charge to ensure the order was taken down, delivered to the table, maybe it was the wind.
If we go back will try another place

We had lunch here on a Monday when many restaurants were closed. Other customers looked like locals who were on their lunch break. The TV was on but it didn't spoil things for us. The carpaccio of both swordfish and tuna were excellent, lots of choice of pasta dishes. House wine was decent and very inexpensive. Bill came to 60 euros for 3 and we all enjoyed our meals very much.

I taste only porcini pasta. Good, tasty, but too fat. There was too much olive oil. I was in Italy, ok, but, too fat anyway.
I like the waiter that could speak english, and was nice, but didn't like the tv.
It is something strange in Italy, only men in restaurants, and they all are watching tv. The TV is too loud, so, too present.
It was a little bit as a canteen, but they seemed have a good menu, with very good thing to eat. I think it even can be expensive if you order fish (the price depends on the weight for some fishes).
Too much canteen to have a good rate.

We asked the hotel desk clerk if he would reccomend a restaurant that served local Italian food like the locals eat and he was spot on with L'Antica Marina. Can't be beaten for quamtity, quality and price.Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will most certainly go back again.
