Standard modernistic hotel of the Best Western chain. Good location, only 10-15 minute walk from Old Town and harbor. Both Miriam and Anna on reception were very professional, helpful and efficient. Just a normal hotel, nothing special. negatives: no fridge in room, safe did not work, mattress kept sliding off box spring, room door left ajar by cleaners one day, Continental breakfast only average.
We spent three nights here and were totally impressed with this hotel. The staff is professional, knowledgeable about Bari, helpful and friendly. The reception is manned 24 hours and whenever we came in there was a smiling face to greet us. The gentleman in the breakfast room is a real jewel. His cheerfulness - and flourish preparing and pouring coffee - makes the start of every day special. The room was a standard room, but it was very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable and bathroom was modern with a good shower head and lots of hot water. Excellent WiFi throughout our stay. We faced the street and had no problem with street noise, even sleeping with the big windows open. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were away from the "crowds", but close enough to get anywhere on foot. We traveled to Bari on the train and the station was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We took day trips by rail from Bari, so again the station was an easy walk. The people at reception always, very kindly, printed schedules for us so we always had lots of options in hand. When we Bari, the shuttle bus to the airport stops across the street on the corner. Hotel staff has all the information. For sightseeing, the Old City is at most 10 minutes away, and again the front desk has all the information and maps you need to find the main attractions. Their restaurant recommendations were perfect for us. Again, we loved the hotel and commend the very efficient staff.
The room was ok, big enough, The view was nice, although it was a little noisy from the street. The hotel staff was very, very nice. Breakfast was good, varied enough, not extraordinary, but more then mediem. Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the old city and 12-15 minutes walk from the train station. Wifi was working great in the room on the 6th floor. We traveled with our baby (6 months old) and slept with him in the double bed.
Location is great and Hotel although small is comfortable and clean. I was impressed by the service of the staff working at this hotel, they did everything to make us feel at home, especially Miriam at the reception.
We stayed here for one night, however we arrived early - and were greeted so nicely by Miriam and another young lady on the desk. We needed to wait, but were offered drinks etc - however they stored our bags and we could go for a walk. This hotel is so close
to the old town - excellent position. We were happy with our room - top floor and a balcony butting up against the gorgeous Palace next door. The Wifi was fine, the aircon needs to be updated probably, but we were more than content with our stay, and thank you Miriam and your Reception desk lady partner, for the advice you gave us on restaurants, shopping and sightseeing, and also for the iron and ironing board, and we also enjoyed the kind man who serves the coffee etc. at breakfast. We needed to store our bags again till 6pm on our departure night, as we were catching the overnight ferry from Bari to Dubrovnik - again the reception staff helped here again, organising the taxi to drop us off exactly where we wanted.
