The hotel is ~15 to 20 min away from the airport. We took a taxi from the airport and paid 20 Euros. Going to the airport from the hotel and the roads were not even busy, the dude charged us 30 Euros. So inconsistent!
This gated hotel, a palazzo in its heyday is nestled in a park surrounded by tall trees and gives you the feeling of peace and serenity. There is a huge swimming pool in the back.
When you go to the city center, put on your shock absorber because from the hotel, you’ll be passing through what seems to be a seedy area. I say so because there are so many graffitis on vacated commercial spaces. I didn’t see any vagrants though. It is at least a 20-min walk. I clocked it. To get to the
city center of Bari, you will have to cross the train station (go underground) and exit out to the front of the station. The walk from train station to the town center is about 15 min.
The room was very clean and it was more than adequate for a couple. I was disappointed that they didn’t have an electric carafe in the room. I normally get up so early to drink my tea. Our room overlooked the railways, a sore for the eyes.
The breakfast room offers a good variety of goodies. They have a cook to order area where you can have eggs cooked to your liking. There is also an al fresco dining but it was so very cold that I didn’t see a single soul out there. The breakfast room turns into a Ristorante in the evening. We ate there when it was raining hard and made going to the city center unappealing. The dinner menu was very good but service was understandably slow that evening because everyone (I think) was dining in.
The hotel is very close to a supermarket Euro Spin which I liked.
The front desk staffs were friendly and were quick to deliver any reasonable requests. (I asked for extra towels and they immediately delivered.) The breakfast room hostess was exceedingly thorough to the point of annoyance. She saw us every single day for 5 days and yet she still would not let us go in without telling her our room number.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. I would definitely look elsewhere for a hotel that is in very close proximity to the city center.

Dear Guest, on behalf of all the staff thank you so much for the positive review and for choosing our hotel. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay overall. We are just surprised by the two different taxi rates since we have a fixed rate of 25€ per ride. We look forward to accommodating you again. Sincerely, Cosimo Ranieri, CEO

Stayed here for 2 nights after flying into Bari from Dublin. Perfect place to start the holiday. Room service was good. They gave us the restaurant menu to pick from and charged no extra for room delivery. Nice touch. Property is modern and very well maintained.

Get down to breakfast on the early side if you can for more choice and a better selection. Option to sit outside on the terrace.

Great service in both the bar and reception , I will stay there again. My only suggestion would be to put better directions on your website to walk from the train station, most people I guess will miss the underpass

Do not be fooled by misleading pictures.
The town of Bari is lovely but is twenty minutes walk to the other side of the railway line.
The Hotel is awful looking over one of the worst area I have ever seen in any Continent.
The bathroom floor was flooded by a leak that could not be attended to.
Never consider this hotel, you have to be on the Bari Town side of this disgusting place.

Dear Guest, thank you for choosing our hotel. Please, allow me to reply that we are just very surprised and disappointed by your words, since defining our historical and "green" property merely "awful" and "disgusting" only because of the proximity on one side to the central station and railroads looks a bit "original".
We respect your opinion, obviously, and we are sorry that your experience here did not meet your best expectations.
Kind regards,
Cosimo Ranieri, CEO
