After touring the Teatro Olympico we crossed the bridge to this family run restaurant. There were four couples and we enjoyed the house red wine and aqua frizzante. Our meals were served family style and portions were generous. We started with pasta primis and the duck sauce with bigoli was tasty as was the pasta with eggplant. We enjoyed secondi of braised pork, roasted rabbit with olives, and meatballs in tomato sauce. We all shared 3 contorni of roast potaoes, kidney beans and tapenade. We shared a cherry tart and apple streudel which was made with ricotta and apples and not pastry. Both were delicious. The food here feels like eating good country cooking and there was a fire in the fireplace in the cozy back room. The owner shares the menu choices and takes your order. There are no menus with prices. For four couples, we each paid 55 euros for two which is quite reasonable for all the food and wine we enjoyed.
