Of all the campsites we've been to as backpackers this will always be our favourite. We loved Verona and the campsite had a great vibe and atmosphere. The plots for tents were shaded by a stone wall and grape vines. Would have no problems recommending this campsite, loved our stay here.

I am a woman alone who travelling in backpack. It's not always easy to find a good camping but this one was wonderfull. With a sky of vineyard, a kitchen simple and perfect with plates and all and nice ambiance, acces to a computer with fast internet. Seriously, it's an excellent choice!

We have been travelling around Europe for 8 weeks and this has been one of the worst campsites that we have stayed in so far. When we arrived an angry and rude woman told us we had to wait outside until 2 pm check in, it did make sense as it is very tight for space and they needed to make room before more campers could come in, but it was her attitude that was shocking.

Unfortunately the service did not improve from there until the point where we paid 40 euros for a camper and two people (the pitch cost 36 euros) and they held back our passports until we found a euro coin because they didn't have the correct change!

The showers were dirty and smelt like wee because they were right next to the squat toilets and clearly not cleaned very well, if at all. Our pitch was the size of a parking space and we had to sit out the front of our small vw camper van because there was no space to the side and other people had to walk across our pitch to get to their tents. We also had friends who were in a tent and they were packed in like sardines, even though there were a lot of free spaces further down the campsite.

The views were pretty and it was a convenient location, however they take advantage of their closeness to the town and charge more than the average campsite for less than adequate facilities. I don't expect 5 star when we are camping but I do expect clean shower and polite service, it really doesn't take much. So much potential in this campsite but sadly we were very disappointed.

Hello, we are really sorry for your experience in our camping, and we are thankful for your feedback.
This year the camping site changed management, I represent the new management, and we need your feedback to give better service to our guests.
So, we make a renovation of a big part of the camping: bathroom, bar, forniture, cabin, pitch, etc.
Unfortnately, one of the point that you said it's not possible to change: it's not possible for us to change the dimension of the parking lots, because our camping it's inside a castle site, so we are under protection of art and hystorical department, and no trasformation of the structure is admitted. To solve this problem we have improved ( with new and confortable foniture) and enlarged community areas.
we just have the possibilities to enlarge the pitch and reduce their numbers and in that case unfortunately increase the price, so for us nothing changes, but we prefer to give possibility to more people to find a low cost accomodation in a touristic and expensive city like Verona.
We hope to have your presence again in our camping to give a better service!
See you soon!
GoodBye!

The camping itself situated on a hill and has a lot of small terraces which makes it very cozy. A lot of flowers around, grape as a roof in may places, excellent view on Verona city center.
We enjoyed friendly atmosphere in the camping. Staff did everything possible to help and make our stay nice. Cooking place, tables , grilles are available for guests. Small shop & cafe is here.
Please note
- there is a limited parking space (because of up-hill positioning).
- no electricity on the pitch; only on the reception

Room Tip: You can park outside the camping. It's free and you have to walk only 30 meters in addition

After staying here for 3 nights I am really surprised to read the negative reviews, my husband and I got back from Verona a couple of days ago and we really enjoyed staying here. We stayed in a static caravan which was perfectly fine, the showers were warm, clean and powerful and the toilets were fine there was 1 'normal' toilet and 1 squat toilet (which are actually quite common around Verona). We paid 38 euro a night and would happily stay here again.

The site is a 10 minute walk up a hill from the actual centre (not to bad a climb). I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. If you want luxury this place may not be for you but if you want basic budget accommodation it is perfectly fine.

This camping is unbelievable. The view over the city from several terrasses is perfect. The crew is friendly and there are possibilities for cooking. A small shop offers food, drinks and super italien coffee. We'll be back!

We arrived earlier than check in time and the staff were quite rude about this. You can't park your car next to the tent which was annoying. Very small plots to pitch tent and surrounded by lots of bug filled plants - bitten alive! The toilets are just a hole in the floor and were filthy with a strong stench of urine. Showers were also dirty. You could get free wifi which was a bonus and there was a good view over the city.

The site is at the top of a very high and steep hill, which meant the 15 minute walk into verona was not too bad and quite scenic, but was very tiring on the way home!
