“Views to die for!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

Well by the time you get to the top you might just feel like have died...or more specifically...died and gone to heaven. There is a lift up part of the way and then the final steps and the trip is well worth it because the views of the city are spectacular and you wont find them bettered any where else. You must do it and while you are at it doing all these visits think seriously about getting a Verona Card for the day! It will save you money.

“Impressive view of the City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

It is a must go place to see the city and the landscape surrounding it. There are a few steps to climb after you take the elevator. The employee at the ticket desk was very very nice which is not common in Verona as most people in tourist places treat tourists badly. Particularly at the Arena's ticket desk where you should not expect a smile.

“Worth it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

For only a few euros you can go up the tower (use the lift, why bother the stairs?) and have great views for 360 degrees. When you come out of the lift, there are a few stairs to the first bell tower level with the two bells. Stop here for photos but don't bother going up further. The next level up with the single bell the viewing is limited.

“Best view of the city from within the city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

There are great views of the city from the hills immediately outside Verona, especially from Via Castello on the north side of the river bend, but for a panorama of the Medieval Center from within the city, you need to go to the top of the Torre dei Lamberti (Lamberti clock tower) next to Piazza Erbe. There is a fee and an elevator that goes 3/4ths of the way to the top. You will be rewarded with 360 degree vistas from the tower. I recommend you buy the Verona Card for 15 euros if you will be visiting several historic sites and museums. It is good for three days and gets you in free to about 20 of the most important historic sites and museums. It saved us a lot of money during one and a half days of sightseeing and we only went to about half the options.
