“Wonderful views of Verona”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

The Lamberti Tower is located inside the Piazza delle Erbe. On the way up, partly via the elevator, the rest via steps, one meets a massive bell, and further up, another 3 bells. If you happen to be in there on the hour, it is not very pleasant unless you cover your ears well. We did stay there till it was 1 o'clock, only to discover that the bells only chime the hour, and so we didn't hear much. You should be there at midday!! Free if you have the Verona card.

“Lovely views, but that's it....”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Yes, the views are stunning (even on a slightly wet day) but that's about it. Coupled with the issue of the handrails needing a very good clean and no history being shown while visiting, it's not as good as it could be.

“Tower with a View”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

Avoid the lift and have a work out getting to the top. It's quite a climb but the views of the historical centre are stunning. You can plan you next piazza while you get your breathe back

“Full View of Beautiful Verona”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

We visited Verona for the day & decided to be brave & walk up the 386 steps to the top of Torre dei Lamberti phew!!but it was so worth it the views were fantastic! We braced ourselves for the bell chiming but it only gave off a little "ding",but to hear the peal of all the other bells chiming all around us was amazing.

“Stunning Views”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Climbing Torre dei Lamberti is so much fun (you can take an elevator) I took the elevator up and walked down. The view of the City and the river is amazing from there. Worth the few Euros. The bells continue to chime and despite pre-warning, they startle you... rather fun
