First impressions of the foyer far exceed expectations for a 2 star with its quirky combo of deep sofas, uber modern art installations and lots of fresh flowers. There's an Apple Mac for guests to use, although wifi is available throughout at no additional cost. Bottled water is also provided free and replenished daily, a nice touch if the temperatures soar. Surprisingly the breakfast room is a bit old fashioned, but the spread superb with freshly cooked eggs and coffee flowing freely. Bedrooms are a little on the sterile side and storage space for clothes limited but as a crash pad absolutely fine.

The ever helpful staff can provide timetables for bus routes to Lake Garda (the stop is just a few meters down the road) and trains to Venice. Wine tours of the local Valpolicello region can also be booked through reception but do fill up. Overall an excellent hotel in a great location for the historic sites and fantastic eateries Verona has to offer. Definitely recommended for a city stop-over.

Room Tip: Bedrooms at the front may experience some road noise but you only notice it because generally the street is remarkably quiet for a city centre location (out of opera season).

We spent one night in this hotel.
Secure on site parking is available although it is tight.
The room was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning worked great so you could shut the window for a calm nights sleep.
The staff were helpful and polite.
The hotel is well located only a 3 minute walk into the old town.
I plan to stay here again.

We stayed for just one night to go to the opera and I didn't have the time to research hotels in the area before choosing this one.

The location is perfect as it is very close to the arena but not in the historic center so we were able to park the car just outside the hotel for 12 Euros ? a day.
The lobby has been refurbished and looks fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were a bit shabby as they had not been remodeled yet. However, they were clean, spacious and had AC.
The breakfast was lovely and there is free wifi in the hotel.

I would stay again when going to the arena but I would make sure I get one of their newly refurbished rooms first!

Room Tip: Ask for upgraded room!

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and the location was perfect. The greeting upon arrival was very friendly and welcoming. Our breakfast was the best we have had in Italy with a big selection and very fresh. The staff were very helpful in providing anything we asked for. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. We thank our desk clerk upon arrival for a great experience in Verona.
