The place is nice, the staff is nice and polite.
The wine list is the thing I appreciated the most: very very interesting choices out of the ordinary (the Valpollicella Superiore I ordered was outstanding).
Unfortunately, the food is nothing special. The ravioli al nero di seppia with crab were on average, the lamb was on the average (and a little bit too fat), the tuna with pistachios was too cooked and the pistachios tasted of nothing.

“Amazing”
Reviewed January 12, 2013 via mobile

Went here on a Friday night. The resturant is small, very quaint and very romantic. The service was impeccable and the food was sublime. Some TA advisories can be hit and miss, in this particular case, it is a undeniable hit.

“Excellent food, excellent value.”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

This restaurant was at the top of the TA rankings at the time of our visit and deserves to stay up there amongst the best of them. Especially recommended for the gastronomes, small groups and for that romantic evening when you’re trying to impress the other half by delighting them with a range of courses with wine, but paying less than they think, though not cheap-skate prices.

The menu selection was not the long list you might expect in bigger restaurants but I would expect all dishes here are gourmet food, though my wife did not rate the lamb dish as high as the chops from a different restaurant. The sincere passion of the English speaking waiters for the food and service helped to make the evening memorable and we would recommend this place highly for at least one dinner in Verona.

Thanks to the advice of previous TA reviewers we booked in advance and got to know the restaurant location in the daylight as the evening fog would have made it difficult to find.

“Best pasta in Italy”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

The reviews are true, this place is wonderful. We had no reservation and had arrived just as they opened. The waiter was friendly and provided a brief explanation of the menu in English. We ordered the house red which was very easy to drink and cheap. For first course we had (not the menu names) the beef antipasto with cheese and the pumpkin ravioli. Main was campi ravioli and the lamb dish with polenta and spinach. Both pasta dishes were the highlight of the meal. I would thoroughly enjoy to taste every pasta dish on the menu and at 10euro you can afford to. Desert was the apple tart but it was nothing fancy, tasted liked canned apples to be honest.
