“Super place in a great location”

The apartment is delightful; lovely painted walls and beamed ceilings. Very comfortable and handy to all of the important sights in Verona. Most are within walking distance and the city bus service is handy to travel far and wide. Carlo is a truly warm and personable man and a great source of information on where to go, what to see, where to eat and how to get pretty well anywhere. One of the most delightful evenings we had was attending the opera (Carmen) in the family palazzo next door. We had a really terrific time in the two weeks we spent here and could easily have spent two more. A wonderful place to stay in the beautiful " painted city" of Verona.

“Traditional Style Flat in Heart of Old Town Verona”
Reviewed July 13, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Perfect location near Piazza Erbe at core of old city. Excellent support from Carlo the owner during our stay. We enjoyed the self contained second floor flat within a 16th century 'palace'! The flat is traditional with all amenities needed, although some were a little basic. It can be a little noisy with vehicles rattling along the cobbled street outside but otherwise it was exactly as pictured.

“Outstanding Apartment In Old Verona”
Reviewed October 9, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

The apartment was perfect. By far the best place we have stayed in italy. The apartment is very large with a nice kitchen, sitting area and bedroom. Even the furniture was really nice. Centrally located in the heart of the city. Great neighborhood. Great street. The building is an opera house and we were lucky enough to see Rigoletto. The kitchen is fully equiped. I was able to make some nice dinners and even lunches. I can not say enough nice things about this apartment. Joanna and Carlo where perfect hosts. The airline lost our luggage. Carlo not only phoned Alitalia for us, he sent me a text message letting me know the luggage came in and that he was going to personally pick them up from the airport. The only thing that can be improved with the apartment was the noise from the children running around on the floor above. But even that was not a problem because by the time we returned to the apartment after a day of sight seeing, the children were already in bed and all was quiet. I am giving this apartment an excellent rating and I would stay there again in a minute. I should also want to mention by train we were able to see many cities such as Venice and Milan to name a few.

“Superb centrally located apartment”
Reviewed September 15, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This was our first visit to Verona and were extremely fortunate to find such a well located property. It's positioned in the old part of Town, close to all the main sights and is easy to pop back to during the day if you need to. It's also within walking distance of the train station if you fancy a trip to Venice, Padova or Vicenza. There are numerous excellent restaurants within minutes of the apartment and lots of fantastic wine bars. The owner Carlo is a very nice man and nothing is too much trouble. We had a wonderful week in Verona which was enhanced by our choice of accommodation.

“Fabulous place to stay”
Reviewed August 25, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We visit Verona every year. Last year (2012) we contacted the owner, Carlo, to ask if we could view the property. He was happy to show us and we booked on the spot for this year (2013).
We stayed for 3 weeks. the location is fabulous, just off Piazza del Herbe and right in the heart of the old town. The apartment is actually part of a 16th century palazzo, and Carlo was happy to show us the rest of this amazing building.
The experience of staying in such a building is one I will treasure and never forget.
Carlo is a great host. He lives in the property. He speaks good English. He is quick to respond to emails, and is happy to help if you need it and otherwise leaves you to enjoy your time.
There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away along the river. On the next street, Via Fama, there's a family run greengrocer, and Mama cooks food to sell. It's delicious!
We loved our stay there.

“The Perfect Spot”
Reviewed May 1, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this pretty apartment. Carlo, the owner, is very hospitable and he made everything from the booking, payment, arrival, and departure quite easy. The apartment is well located in the historical center of Verona, is light and airy, and very clean. We hope to return soon!
Note: Be aware that at certain times you are not allowed to drive in the vicinity of the apartment.
